Colors of You - 11.09.2001

I look upon a portrait framed - with colors so refined.
It is a mirror of your beauty, your inner depths defined.
Excuse me while I study now - all that you posess.
I'm fascinated with the shades that portray you best:
I find a bit of red in there, your tempermental will.
A lot of blue swims in your eyes, the safety that I feel.
A stroke of yellow represents - some fear or aversion.
A bit of green is jealousy, of another person.
A bunch of pink and periwinkle, your female splendor full.
Draw attention to your smile, with strongest force a pull.
Some sparkles of a silver glitter, shine upon your lips.
As I cast a wistful glance upon your pretty hips.
There is a trace of shadow black - which represents your power.
I see the purest of all hues, the white of your heart flower.
And if some day - I've gone blind and cannot see these things.
Just remind me of your freedom with your faery wings.
As I could not bear to keep you from your path.
You are beauty, you are love, you are all I have.
