Welcome to my personal web site. My name is Neellohit Bose, as you've probably gathered by the big header at the top of the site. The aim of this site is to tell you a little bit about myself and to give you a glimpse of what I did.

To begin with, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I graduated from the Heritage Institute of Technology with a B.Tech in Biotechnology in 2009. My degree consists of various aspects of Modern Biology & Chemical Science like Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Plant Biotechnology, Animal Cell Culture, Industrial Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Bioreactor Design, Bio-process technology, etc and various basic concepts of Engineering like Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, etc. The Engineering degree in Biotechnology is essentially the digest of all the modern theories & approaches of modern Biotechnology & Biochemical Science with a bit more emphasis on theoretical parts, but fear not, I still had to endure all the Practical Applications one would expect from a fine institute like HITK. Even though I've completed all the required courses required for the Degree program, I am inclined for the Microbiology curricula because it more genuinely reflects my interests and abilities. Sadly, I am not the researcher type of Biotechnology professional, but rather a more practical one who is interested in learning new methods of Industrial Quality Control Procedure. Hence the Biotechnology Engineering Degree fits me perfectly! Because it gave me the knowledge of Microbiology & Biotechnological Processes & basic Engineering skills.
