| Above is shown the old hatch. It had a fairly good fit but no seal. The new hatch shown left is finished with half inch smoked lexan and a tight foam gasget. shown on the next page under construction it lets in lots of light giving the V-berth a warm light feeling. | ||||||||||||||||

| Here is a view of the new port bulkhead. It's 1/8 in thicker than the old bulkhead, and it may make the boat a bit stiffer. You can also see the teak trim piece which after stripping finished up a lot lighter. The revealed grain makes a very interesting pattern and will give the cabin a warm look. |
