Here is a view of the old bulkheads. They are made of the same faux teak as the locker door, but they are trimmed in very nice solid teak and these will be saved for the new bulkheads.
I took the old bulkheads and screwed them to the new 7 ply birch.
Below the bulkhead is cut out and being sanded.  Note also the teak trim being dry fit after having been stripped. The new ply was soaked in epoxy and xylene and then finished with about 8 coats of varnish producing a very fine gloss.
Pictured right is the interior with the bulkheads removed.
If you have ever doubted the need for bulkheads in the structural integrity of glass boats, when we removed these bulkheads, the deck flexed and indicated that the boat was somewhat flimsy without them.
