Roughly a month ago I teamed up with Thorongirl (if you post on ff.net you might know her, she's the one who leaves all that fantastic feedback) to work on a weblog centering around recommending good LOTR stories. We're both ranger girls, so naturally the recs so far often include Aragorn with various other characters. You can see the site here:

We have decided to post slash recs as well, but because the blog is tied to a gen-archive we will keep the slash hidden. If you want to see the slash recs, do the following: Register (it only takes two clicks, nothing more than a user name and an email is required) and then tell us in your biographical info that you want to see teh slash. If you don't feel like talking, just put a "level 1" in there:) I will then set your user status to display those recs. As a registered user you can also get email notifications when a new item has been posted. That's just a little plus.

Still, if you don't feel like registering, I'd be happy if you stopped by nonetheless. Thorongirl has posted a large number of amazing stories. They're all well worth the read!

Also, if you have suggestions on what to see on a site like this (genres, characters, species, whatever), I'm happy to hear them. At the moment the blog is a joint-venture between Thorongirl and me, but the site can (and should) grow. If you like to rec legomances or you just know the right person to rec hobbit h/c to the world, let us know. We're hiring *g* (sadly, no money is involved on either part...).
