Chapter 2

Satsuki woke up first the next morning, stretching and curling up closer to Kyo, kissing his new lover's cheek. "Kyo..." He whispered into the other's ear, a smile spread across his face. He never felt so happy.

Kyo just groaned, winding his arms tighter around the warm body beside him, fighting to not wake up. He was in a warm, pleasant place and he intended to stay there a little more.

Satsuki laughed a bit to himself and slid his hands over Kyo's chest before nipping Kyo's neck enough to cause a little pain.

Kyo sighed, forcing himself to open his eyes while rubbing little circles on the soft skin of Satsuki's back. "You just had to wake me up, hm?" He leaned down to softly press a kiss to the angel's lips.

Satsuki purred happily, moving to sit on top of Kyo. "I thought you would like to spend some time with me before you have to leave and do stuff."

The demon purred back, hugging the angel close to him, enjoying the proximity of their bodies. "I believe I have an hour or so..." He rolled them, so he was on top, giving Satsuki's lips a long kiss. "Do you want to get up and have breakfast now or you want to stay in bed some more?" He kissed the blonde's forehead and neck, happy to stay close to him.

"Stay in bed with you." Satsuki answered, closing his eyes in bliss at the sweet little kisses.

Kyo just smiled, laying down next to Satsuki, looking at him with love in his eyes. "How you're feeling?"

"Great." Satsuki answered, sighing in happiness. "How about you?"

"If you're happy, I am too..." He hugged the other close, but sat up quickly when someone knocked on the door. A muffled voice said "Breakfast!" and they could hear steps going down the corridor. "Damn! I forgot I told them to bring me breakfast here in the mornings. Shit..." Putting on his pants, he walked to the door, getting the big tray of fruits, cookies, coffee, tea, juice, toast and jelly.

Satsuki sat up some, sniffing the air. It smelled really good actually. He wanted to taste more of the demon's food.

Kyo frowned, trying to balance everything on the tray while walking to the bed. "They went a little overboard this time. It's a lot of food." He sat on the mattress, grabbing a piece of toast and spreading strawberry jelly over it. "Here, try this one. And what do you wanna drink?"

Satsuki took the toast, biting into it. He liked the jelly a lot, so he just licked that off the rest of the toast. "Juice." He finally answered when he was done licking the toast clean.

Kyo just looked at him licking the toast with a dumb expression. He then laughed, shaking his head to himself. The demon took the toast from Satsuki, spreading more jelly on it. "Eat the bread this time, it's good for you." He poured grape juice in a glass and handed it to him.

Satsuki pouted, but ate the bread now too. He then drank down all his juice, liking that as well.
Kyo smiled to him, drinking his own black coffee slowly and motioning to the tray. "Okay, you can choose whatever you want now, but eat more, please. You're so thin."

Satsuki took some of the fruits and began snacking on them, leaning against Kyo's shoulder. "Is that a problem?"

Kyo slapped him lightly on the head, still smiling. "Of course not. You're beautiful like that. But can't I worry over you?" He kissed the spot he had slapped, sighing as he remembered he had to go soon.

Satsuki kissed Kyo again, before sliding a strawberry between the demon's lips. "Then you eat too."

Kyo swallowed the fruit, but soon attacked the sugary chocolate cookies, smirking. "Okay, but I like those better. I'm sugar addicted. Here, try one." He handed one of the treats to Satsuki while happily nibbling on a piece himself.

Satsuki took it and ate it happily before picking up another. He liked cookies best too, he decided.

Kyo ate one last cookie before taking the bowls of apples, bananas and cookies off of the tray and arranging them on the bedside table. "I have to go and get ready now. This will stay here for you, I'll only be back at night. There is a jar of water on the table beside the window." He got up, disposing of the tray in the hallway and walking to the bathroom for a quick shower.

Satsuki watched Kyo disappear into the bathroom with a little pout, but he decided not to let loneliness bother him. He made a little nest out of the sheets and settled down to sleep some more.

After the shower, Kyo dressed himself quickly, feeling nervous for what the day could hold to him. He would expose his plan to release the angels, but he wasn't sure it would be welcome. If the counsel decided to kill every prisoner, he was taking Satsuki away from here tonight. When he was finished, he sat beside the sleeping blonde, softly shaking him awake. "Hey, listen to me for a sec."

"Mm..." Satsuki pouted, but opened his eyes, looking at Kyo. "What is it?"

He caressed the blonde's cheek with a hand, his voice low but powerful. He meant every word. "I have a bad feeling about today. So don't open the window, don't answer the door or talk. You're supposed to be chained remember? Try to not make much noise, ok? And get dressed and feed yourself. If the counsel turns out bad today, we're running from here. " He kissed Satsuki's forehead before getting up.
"There are clothes for you on my bag, ok?"

Satsuki nodded and went to get the clothes. "I'll be careful, Kyo. You watch out too."

Kyo nodded, sighing and stretching before heading out the door. "Yeeeah... Because I have a feeling they will want my head on a stick after today..."

Satsuki dressed and settled back into his little nest of sheets. The nest he had made because he would be having children soon...

A new class had been added to the schedule, to develop self defense for the breeders as well. Apparently because of the increased threat of attacks, it was now necessary for everyone to at least be able to protect themselves. This was where the new teacher, Saga, stepped in. He was a loner, who built up his skills with his special abilities more so than any physical fighting techniques. It was supposed to be quite an honor to have him there. Mostly the breeders liked him because he was good looking.

Uruha dragged his friend, Nao, by the hand to the new class, still speaking of the wonderful night and morning he had with Aoi. He had been doing it for the last thirty minutes, and while it left Nao happy, he was quickly getting tired of it. But every time he looked at the tall blonde and saw his free hand holding the still flat stomach, he smiled and forced himself to listen to more.

Saga was sitting behind his desk, feet propped up on it as he watched the students file in. And an embarrassed little brunette one that ran in late. Saga really didn't care. His attention was only caught when he saw Nao, sitting and looking adorable as he listened to the blonde chattering beside him. Saga smirked to himself and stared at Nao, memorizing all he could about the student.

Hiroto ran to his class, apologizing to the teacher quickly and taking his place behind Uruha. The blonde immediately turned to him, grabbing his hand and placing on his stomach, chatting away. The brunette laughed, grasping Uru's hand and doing the same.

Nao laughed at the exchange, but deep down feeling a little jealous for not having found anyone yet. He looked around, greeting some of his friends before noticing the look his teacher was giving to him. The brunette smiled, feeling his cheeks heat up. He tried, but he couldn't take his eyes off the sexy teacher. A quick look around proved that he wasn't the only one with that problem.

Saga got up and moved around his desk, leaning against it. He still had his eyes on Nao as he spoke. "So since it's my first time teaching here, I'd like you all to introduce yourselves...starting with this cutie right here." Saga moved over to Nao's desk, putting a hand on his shoulder.

Nao blushed beet red, sliding down his chair little bit in a silly attempt to hide."My name is Nao..."

Saga smiled a bit to himself as Nao blushed. It looked so good on him. "Tell me a little more about you, Nao. Do you have a mate?"

Nao swallowed dry, squirming a bit under the touch, feeling like his face was on fire. "No sir, I don't..."

Saga smirked and squeezed Nao's shoulder before stepping away from him and asking for the next student to introduce himself. Hiroto poked Nao's side and wiggled his eyebrows a bit in Nao's direction. The teacher couldn't be more obvious with his flirting with Nao.

Nao pouted and turned away, still feeling his face so hot and his eyes were stinging.

Once everyone was introduced, Saga moved back up to the front of the classroom to begin the lesson with his usual lecture. "The highest number of deaths in the past couple years among demons has not been the warriors. It's been breeders, because they're defenseless and they're carrying the next generation of demons. Thus why it's increasingly important that you work on being able to defend yourselves. Your assignment tonight is to determine what your abilities are and what you want to develop into a skill.”

Uruha frowned. He didn't have any ability he could develop into something to defend himself... The only things he was good at was drawing and...sewing. He couldn't think of himself sticking a pen and a needle in some angel.

Nao pouted, he was fast, but that's all. Not of much help, he would just run for his life.

Saga talked a bit more about what they would be doing in class during the year before the bell rang, signaling the end of that class. He waited by the door as the students filed out, catching Nao's arm as he passed. "May I talk to you for a minute?"

Nao looked at the door where his friend was waiting for him, but nodded anyway, signaling for him to go first. It was clear he wanted to see Aoi before their next class. "Yes... " He stood there, feeling awkward.

"Sorry if I embarrassed you earlier." Saga apologized, smiling kindly at Nao. "I want to make it up to you."

Nao looked up, surprised. "No! No, It's okay, really. I just don't like speaking to the whole class...It's alright." He was making a fool of himself, so he choose to shut up and stare at his old sneakers.

Saga lifted Nao's chin and gently stroked his cheek. "Ok, I'll admit it. I want you to have dinner with me."

"Oh!" Nao turned around, looking at the blank wall at the end of the classroom. He should say no, but he didn't think he could. His heart was pounding in his chest and he was feeling a little dizzy. Looking back at his teacher, he smiled and looked him in the eyes even if the blush didn't leave his cheeks. "O-okay..."

Saga smiled more and went to get his jacket. "Come back to this room after you finish the rest of your classes. I've got a meeting to go to."

"R-right...Excuse me." He walked out the classroom, blushing even more and cursing when he realized that he caressed the teacher's arm on his way out. What was wrong with him? His hand moved completely alone!

Saga smirked to himself as Nao left. He got this one. He began walking down the hall to the meeting, hoping it would be over quickly.

Kyo paced around the table, not really in the mood to talk to anyone. He was nervous about his plan. It was a good plan, but the grudge between the races would probably end up getting in the way. He needed a good plan, some way to postpone the executions for some hours if his idea was ignored.

Saga entered the conference room and sat down in one of the chairs, glad that the meeting hadn't started yet. He glanced at Kyo, watching him pace.

Kyo stopped walking, looking at the table and raising a hand, casually greeting Saga. When all the others took their seats, he did too, waiting for his cue to explain the plan.

"So how many angels do we have held prisoner?" One of the elders asked, facing Kyo.

Kyo sighed, trying to calm himself before speaking. "Eighteen. We had twenty, but two died despite our attempts to heal them." He really should tell them that one of the angels was a son of a general, but he wasn't secure about their intentions just yet. It would be better to not draw attention to Satsuki.

"When I checked, there were only seventeen left in the dungeons." Saga spoke up, looking straight at Kyo. "You are keeping one in another place in the school, right?"

Kyo fought the urge to slide down in his chair. All those eyes on him was starting to get on his nerves. "Yes. The angel commanding the attack is in a room. He's tied and contained, but in a room. He wouldn't speak under any kind of torture, so I offered some luxury. He accepted."

"Has it helped him open up any?" Saga asked, leaning back in his chair.

Kyo raised an eyebrow, not really knowing how to answer that. "Well... He told me there are no other attacks planned. That he's the son of a general, not a general himself... He told me some information about their routine too... And then I planned a tactic, that is why we're here."

"Tell us about it." One of the elders urged. Saga still looked at Kyo like he could see right through him.

"I'm thinking of exchanging the angels for peace. Seventeen years of piece, one for each angel. We send them one by one everyday. But we keep the general's son. If they attack us in the next seventeen years, we kill him. He's important, they will want him back... He is almost like a prince, his father is very powerful. We should let an angel see him once in a while too, to prove we are being truthful to our word." He moved uncomfortably on his chair, not understanding why Saga's eyes were bothering him so much. It was almost as if he knew...

"It sounds like a reasonable idea, but I'm not sure the angels will agree to it." Someone said. Saga held up his hand to interrupt them.

"So if we go through with this, I say we confine Kyo and his angel up into the mountains, away from the school so that if there was an attack to get the general's son back, all innocent families would be far away from there."

Kyo nodded, trying to not let a smile creep on to his face at the idea of being isolated with Satsuki. "I agree with that. But, with all respect, I don't think anybody out of the council should know where I'll be hiding. It's not just the angels we have to fear if we're keeping him here."

"You have a point there, we should assign a secret keeper. Only one who knows your location, just in case something happens." Saga added.

"That's fine with me." And the thought of killing another demon suddenly didn't seem all that terrible anymore. It was a perfect little evil plan. If he disposed of the secret keeper, nobody would ever know of them again.

"All right, it's settled then. We'll give this a try." The head elder of the group said, pressing his fingers together and looking pleased. Saga got up from his seat, motioning for Kyo to come with him.

Kyo gave the elders a little smile and bowed, too pleased with his plan to worry when Saga asked him to follow. He did so without objection.

As soon as they were outside the room, Saga turned to Kyo. "I'm going to be your secret keeper and just so you know, I'm too important to kill because of my skills in being able to read minds."

Kyo stood in front of him, shocked. He had to kill him, he had to kill him right now. He knew... The demon's eyes were glowing, his tattoos stinging, but he kept himself from grabbing the other's neck. A little piece of his mind yelled to him that Saga had agreed with the plan even knowing his secret.

"I won't tell anyone as long as you never let the children live. They'd be too dangerously powerful for you to handle." Saga said before turning and continuing to walk back to his classroom to meet Nao.

Kyo took a deep, shaking breath before shouting at Saga, who was already retreating. "What about the place? When can I leave?"

"We'll talk more tomorrow!" Saga yelled back, disappearing around a corner.

Kyo stood in the hallway for good five minutes before turning and walking at a quick pace to the bedroom he shared with the angel. Taking a deep breath, he twisted the knob and locked the door after he was inside. He then turned to Satsuki and couldn't hold back a large smile anymore. "It worked... And it's even better..." He walked to the thin form on the bed, hugging the blond close to him. "We're going away... They don't want to keep you here. And only one demon from the council will know where we are."

Satsuki smiled as well, kissing Kyo and hugging back. He was happy, but maybe not as much as he would normally be.

Kyo returned the kiss with a relieved sigh, turning on the bed so he could hold the angel on top of him. He looked at the delicate face, frowning. "What's wrong...?" A hand came to cup Satsuki's cheek, trying to make him comfortable.

Satsuki sighed and moved off of Kyo, lifting part of the piled of sheets that he had gathered up into a nest. There lay four perfect grey eggs.

Kyo sat up slowly, eyes glued on the eggs. He reached a hand to touch one of them, feeling the amazing texture. It was warm and he could swear he could feel a faint pulse... It was alive. He jumped back, quickly covering the eggs with the sheets again. "We should get rid of it..." His voice was hoarse and his eyes stung, feeling a sudden strong need to protect those eggs, his children, from any harm. His instinct was pressing him, making the demon almost hyperventilate.

Tears were collecting in Satsuki's eyes as he gathered the eggs close to his chest. "I don't want them to die..."

Kyo looked up, using both hands to tug at his hair while pressing his eyes shut. "We agreed when we started that...." But his eyes fell on the eggs again and he was gone. Shaking his head to himself, he walked to the dresser, taking a thick blanket from there and stuffing it inside of his bag in the place of his clothes. "We have to hide them...Is this good?" He showed the inside of the bag to his mate.

Satsuki nodded slightly and carefully brought the eggs over and placed them inside the bag. "They need to keep warm until they hatch."

"Ok, so let's keep the bag on the bed with us until tomorrow. Nobody will barge in, the door is locked and cursed. But it needs to look like a normal bag tomorrow when we leave." He sat on the mattress, hugging both the bag and the angel close. "I have to talk to you about one more thing... Our secret keeper, he's a mind reader. He said he will let us go as long as we don't let the children live... And that means we are in trouble. There is anything you can do? I don't know... lock our heads to his reading or something? I sure as hell can't."

"Hmm..." Satsuki hummed to himself as he tried to think of something. "First of all, he needs to be distracted to buy us some time and then maybe I can think of something. Perhaps blocking out his abilities."

Kyo frowned, looking at the angel in his arms. "How will we do it? We can't get close enough for him to see us without him knowing we're keeping our children. Maybe we should just run away..."

"All we have to do is get someone to help us." Satsuki said, smiling a little at Kyo.

Kyo raised an eyebrow at his partner. "Yeahh... And how will we tell some random demon we want help to hide our hybrid children from a feared telepathic elder?"

Satsuki shook his head and kissed Kyo's forehead. "It doesn't have to be a demon..."

Kyo just looked at the other, trying to guess what was going on on that beautiful head of his."What do you mean?"

"I still have angels under my control." Satsuki replied. "What we do is have a little accident happen to this guy and then you get another secret keeper and give him a false location."

Kyo was still worried about the plan. "We can't kill him. The demons will be enraged and will not want to follow the plan anymore... Maybe we can bring him here, and talk about it? I just hope he can understand."

Satsuki nodded a bit and glanced at the bag, touching it lightly.
Kyo caressed the hand on the bag, kissing Satsuki's forehead. "We can't hide the eggs from him, he will always know... But let's do our best to protect our babies... They will only die if we die first... But don't worry too much about that, he will understand."

Satsuki hoped Kyo was right. He just wished the two of them could have a normal family somehow, then he would've been happy. "I wonder what they'll look like..." He muttered softly, smiling a bit. "The eggs are usually pure white."

"Really? Now you left me wondering too... I kinda hope they won't have wings. Can be a problem if they grow up down here... They will realize soon they're not like everyone else..." He opened the zipper, taking another good look at the eggs, rubbing lightly every single one of them. A silly smile graced his face. "What will we name them?"

"You can hide the wings, silly." Satsuki said, placing a kiss on each egg. "Let's think of some names together."

"Well yeah, you can hide the wings. But what if they open them in front of someone when they are little? I mean, they will ask us why everyone runs and panics when they do." He looked back at the eggs, choosing one and cradling it on his lap. "But we have some years before that..." He looked at Satsuki, smiling. "So, any idea for this one?"

"They won't be little kids anymore by the time I'm released." Satsuki said, petting the eggs. "Maybe we should wait until they hatch to name them."

Kyo nodded, carefully adjusting the egg next to the others. "How many years until angels look like adults? Maybe they will take a little more right?" He carried the bag to the bathroom, dropping it on a chair. He came back to grasp Satsuki's hand and guide him to the bathroom. "Let's take a bubble bath."

Satsuki smiled as he followed Kyo into the bathroom. "Be careful with our babies, they're delicate."

"Don't worry, I'm being careful." He turned the knobs to fill the tub with water and started to work on the angel's clothes. He touched the perfect hair once he was done with the top, sighing. "So beautiful... But maybe we will have to do something about it when we move. It's so unusual for us, but I've seen plenty of angels with hair like that...Will you be too sad if we need to cut it? Not too short, just a little more like we use around here."

"I'll be fine." Satsuki assured Kyo, kissing him sweetly on the lips. "I'll do anything to be with you."

Kyo smiled, hugging him close and kissing the soft mouth until the water overflowed, wetting their feet. "Oh, shit..." He leaned down to turn the knobs closed, losing his balance and falling face first on the water.

Satsuki giggled and helped Kyo up. "Be careful with yourself too."

Kyo coughed and tried to get up, only to slide down once more. Smirking, he grabbed both of Satsuki's arms and pulled him in the water too. "There, now you can't laugh at me." The demon kissed the angel's head and looked at the eggs for a second.

Satsuki splashed Kyo and crawled on top of him. "It's your fault for letting it overflow."

Kyo laughed, kissing Satsuki. "It's your fault for distracting me." He grabbed some green bottle from the side of the of the tub, pouring a good amount of the liquid on the water. Reaching behind him he turned on the jets, almost drowning them in bubbles. He then settled to fight against the angel's soaked pants. "Damn, get these off."

Satsuki stood up, his pants falling low on his hips already from the weight of the water. He slid them the rest of the way off and rolled them up in a little ball, squeezing the water out.

Kyo did the same with his, finally relaxing inside the hot water. "Come here..."

Satsuki moved over to Kyo again, settling back in his lap.

After some quality time with his new lover, they both were clean and sleepy. Helping the angel out of the tub, he handed him a fluffy towel and the silk pjs from last night. Once they were both ready, he grabbed the bag carefully, carrying it to bed with them. Once there, he fell asleep holding all his children and mate close to him.

Satsuki fell asleep for a little while before he felt movement from the bag. He sat up sleepily and unzipped it to check on his babies.

Kyo opened one eye at the movement, his foggy mind not able to understand what Satsuki was doing. "What's going on?"

"I felt movement from the bag." Satsuki answered, as he looked inside the bag. Little cracks were forming in some of the eggs.

Kyo sat up too, rubbing his tired eyes. Taking a look at the bag, he suddenly felt fully awake. "Are they hatching?" He reached for a egg, touching it and feeling it move. Hell, he didn't even have to touch it, he could see them moving.

Satsuki grinned and held Kyo's hand. "They are! Our babies are hatching!"

Kyo mouth hung open, his arms hugging Satsuki's shoulders while he watched the eggs inside the bag. He didn't blink, afraid he would miss the moment where the first little hand or foot would come out.

One of the eggs cracked enough that it fell open, the little baby inside whining as it stretched its little black wings. Satsuki smiled and carefully picked him up. "Kyo, get me a wash cloth to clean them up with."

Kyo ran to the bathroom almost tripping over his own feet, his head turned back to the bed the whole time, watching the eggs. He quickly filled a bowl with water and got two wash cloths, figuring that soon he would have to help too. "Here..." He handed the cloth to Satsuki and laid the bowl in front of them. Then he finally took a good look at the little creature on his mate's arms. "So tiny..." He grasped one little hand carefully, kissing the palm.

Satsuki carefully cleaned the little baby off, pressing a kiss to the forehead. More of the babies in the bag were following their brother and hatching as well.

Kyo picked up the two little babies in the bag, carefully cleaning them, looking with a worried expression at the egg that was still just cracked. He shook his head at the stupid thoughts and smiled at his babies, touching them and their little grey wings. "Hey love... These ones have different wings...And this little fellow here has lovely blue eyes." He leaned in to kiss the blonde mop on the top of the baby's head.

Satsuki's attention was taken by the unhatched egg though, a worried expression on his face. "Is it normal...to take this long?"

Kyo looked to back to the bag, but kept one hand on each baby. "I don't know... You tell me." He got closer, nibbling on his lip "Come on little one, you can do it..."

Satsuki held the baby in his arms close, trying not to cry. He didn't want to lose one.

Kyo sighed, rubbing little circles on Satsuki's back. When he was about to close the bag and comfort the angel, one little arm made his way out, quickly followed by a head and little black wings... And a high pitched cry louder then any of the others. "Hey! You're late!" The demon smiled, picking his son from the bag.

Satsuki smiled, wiping his tears away. He helped Kyo clean the baby, setting the others down safely on the warm bed. "We're going to need some milk for them all to drink, Kyo. Can you get some and four bottles too?"

Kyo nodded, hurrying out of the room. He wanted to get back soon so he could just sit and look at the cute little creatures. He walked to the big kitchen, sneaking past the people there to steal four bottles. Hiding it under his coat, he asked for one of the servants to prepare a tray with a jar of milk, cookies, fruits, juice, jelly and bread. On his way back, he stole two packages of diapers and some other things they would need from the nursery, four black baby clothes included. "Here... I had to ask for food too or it would be too suspicious... There is clothes and diapers too..."

Satsuki smiled at Kyo as he began tending to the babies, dressing them and feeding all four of the little precious ones. "We should name them now..."

Kyo, who was feeding the two babies with grey wings, looked up, smiling. "Yes... They deserve a good name now. It must be a lot of work to break these..." He motioned to the broken eggs with his head.

Satsuki nodded and pointed to the black winged baby that had been born last. "We'll start with this one."

"Okay... So what we should name this late boy?" He picked up the baby with blonde hair and blue eyes, who was thrashing on the bed trying to reach for him, while looking at the dark winged one. He felt his son tugging on a little rose embroidered on his coat, but ignored it for now.

"Hitsugi." Satsuki said, touching the baby's little nose.
Kyo nodded in approval, the name sounding good enough. He then looked down, at the little blonde now poking the embroidered rose. "Hey..stop that..." He turned the baby around, and immediately the little hands were pointing to the red flowers on the other side of the room. "I think he likes the color."

"He should be named Rose then." Satsuki said, laying a kiss on the baby's head. "He's pretty like a flower too."

Kyo kissed Satsuki's lips, murmuring against the plush flesh. "Good idea... We should name the first one Sana..." He looked at the dark haired baby, who was looking around with his huge eyes. "I think it's a strong name..."

Satsuki nodded and touched the soft tuft of black hair on that baby before looking at the last one. Another blonde haired baby with grey wings, but this one was very shy. "And finally....Shou."

Kyo smiled, hugging Rose close to him. "That's great... Feels really good..." He leaned down to kiss every baby on the forehead. "But I'll ask again, why do they have different wings? And who's a breeder and who's a warrior? When they are pure demon, we just... know. But now I can't tell."

Satsuki studied the babies, making his best guess. "I think the ones with black wings are more demon and I think the ones with grey wings are more angel. I would assume they carry traits of both races."

Kyo nodded while arranging them on the bed, covering all with a thick blanket. "I guess we don't know what to expect... I've heard of some hybrids before, but I don't know anything about them...Let's not worry about it now, we have a plan to make." He laid down on the bed pulling Satsuki on top of him. "We have to be sure the babies will be protected from any harm when I call Saga here to talk, tomorrow."

Satsuki curled up on top Kyo, sighing and listening to the soft coos from their children. "I didn't know I even wanted a family this much..."

Kyo hugged the angel close, sighing and looking at the babies... Little Sana was pulling on Rose's hair, Hitsugi was making spit bubbles and Shou was asleep."Me neither... But they're so cute." He smiled, feeling truly happy for the first time in years.

Satsuki giggled, wanting to stay up and watch them the whole night. "I can't believe they're ours. We made them." He said before moving to reposition Sana away from Rose and on the other side of Hitsugi. Sana seemed to be entertained by the spit bubbles.

Kyo smiled, kissing Satsuki's cheek. "Yeah... And I feel like I've known you for ages but... Do you realize that we only meet three days ago?" He looked at his kids, holding Sana's little hand when he tried to poke Hitsugi in the eye. "Hey, you just got here and already are such a brat..."

Satsuki laughed and moved Sana next to Shou to see if he behaved any better. Surprisingly, Sana seemed to snuggle next to Shou and close his eyes as well, gurgling happily.

Kyo snuggled close to Satsuki too, closing his eyes. "We should sleep, we will have a long day tomorrow."
Satsuki nodded and rest against Kyo, closing his eyes and letting sleep take over.

Kyo was up before anyone else in the school. The sun was just starting to show on the horizon when he was ready to go. He would confront Saga at his house, away from his mate and children. That way he still had a chance to save them if the worst happened. He walked to the angel, kissing his eyelids. "Hey beautiful, wake up..."

Satsuki opened his eyes and looked up at his mate. "Mm, yeah?"

"I'm going to talk to Saga now... If you suspect of anything, of any noise, get the kids and get out of here. I'll find you somehow." He kissed the angel's mouth for a second, going to kiss the forehead of all his children later. "There's milk on the table, and fruits for you...I'm not gonna take long. Be ready, ok? There is a hooded cloak on the other bed... You gonna need it if we get out."

Satsuki nodded and moved to feed the children, who were just starting to wake up.

Kyo ran all the way to Saga's house, knocking on the door loudly, not caring at all if he was dragging the other out of bed.

Saga was already up though, getting ready for his day of work at the school. He moved to the door as he was buttoning up his shirt and opened it to see Kyo there. "Ah, Kyo...Don't tell me, I can already see what the problem is."

"Can we leave?" He was tense, ready for a fight. He would never let anyone harm his new family.

Saga nodded. He understood what Kyo was going through. "Just promise me one thing, Kyo. Promise me that the only angel that will ever have contact with those children is Satsuki. Because it could be fatal to our race otherwise."

Kyo sighed, but nodded anyway. "Okay... but I don't understand your logic. They will be raised here... They will be demons who can fly. I see a lot more danger to the angels that way..." He looked down, shaking his head to himself. "Why are you doing this?"

"A long time ago, one of our women got pregnant with an angel's baby. She had it and the angels stole it and used its power as a weapon against us. It was resistant to almost everything." Saga explained. "I just don't want the same mistake to happen or else they'll kill Satsuki and the children."

Kyo nodded. "It's not gonna happen. No one will know if you don't open your mouth. Now let's go, I want to get them out of there and I need you for this."

"What do you want me to do?" Saga asked, slipping on his shoes.

"Just tell them we're leaving and you know where we are heading to. I don't want them around when we're trying to get out...They will be too focused on watching Satsuki, they can notice the kids."
Saga nodded and pat Kyo on the back. "Good luck with your family. I hope it all works out." He said before starting to head to the school to talk to the council.
Kyo nodded, walking beside the other demon to the school. "I hope it too..." Deep down, he knew it would not be easy to raise them, but he was happy enough at the moment.

"If you ever need anything, just call me and I'll bring it to you." Saga said, offering Kyo a little smile.

Kyo nodded once more, focusing on the school outline he saw at the end of the street. He would not relax until he got everyone he loved out of there.

Saga went straight to the council when he got inside the school, talking to them about the situation and obviously leaving out the part about the relationship between Kyo and Satsuki and the children that resulted from it.

Kyo entered the room, nervously hugging his mate. "We have to go now, dress the cloak, use the hood... Maybe the elders will want to see you, but in the street you are gonna need it." He took just a few clothes from the dresser and stuffed it on a bag before looking at their children. "Okay... how do you think we should hide them?"

Satsuki put the cloak around his shoulders and put the hood over his head before glancing at the babies on the bed. "Line a basket with blankets?"

"Maybe we should just use bags... They will think we're carrying clothes..." He got the blankets and two big bags with zippers from the dresser. "Don't worry, once we're far enough you can take that off and we can take the babies out too..." He looked down, finally gathering some courage to explain the hood. "The reason you have to use it is that... we carry the prisoners with the hood so anyone will know... So, I'm sorry for that. And I'll have to handcuff you too." He nibbled on his lip, looking miserable and ashamed.

Satsuki held his hands out, not minding now that he knew he'd be freed soon. "I understand, it's ok. Just take care of my babies."

Kyo closed the handcuffs and cupped Satsuki's face with both of his hands, kissing the soft lips. After they parted, he pulled the hood lower and used a hand to direct the angel's head down. "Keep your eyes on the ground, don't look at them unless they ask you to. If they think you're no trouble at all, it's better for us." He walked to his sleeping babies, picking up each one gently and placing them inside the bags."Please, please guys, be quiet..." He kissed their little round faces before zipping the bag up. "Okay... let's go. I think we will meet them at the gates... Walk a little bit ahed of me and just turn a corner when I tell you so..."

Satsuki nodded, exiting the room and keeping his head down as they left. He worried about his babies though, afraid that they would wake up and make noise.

Kyo walked behind him, giving directions. When they neared the gate, his voice dropped to a whisper. "There they are... Let's make it quick." He walked to the elders and stopped in front of them. "We're ready."

The elders nodded, not giving them any trouble because they had already trusted that Saga told them everything. "Good luck, Kyo." The leader said.

Kyo nodded, turning to leave. He walked in silence for five blocks, ignoring the stares and cruel words directed to Satsuki. Once they reached a street with a significantly low number of people, Kyo whispered to turn into a alley. "Get rid of the hood, lets stuff it in a trash can." He took a dagger from his pocket, grabbing a handful of the curly hair and chopping it off. "Sorry love... We will do it better once we're settled..." He did the best he could and it turned out okay. The demon jumped five feet in the air when a loud cry erupted from one of the bags, dropping the knife and cut hair on the ground while kneeling. "I think it's Shou..."

"Let me see him and maybe I can calm him down." Satsuki said, throwing his cloak aside.

Kyo uncuffed Satsuki and handed him the crying baby, going to check on the others. Little Rose attached himself to his coat again with a displeased cry, Hitsugi and Sana were just calmly staring up at him from their places in the bag. "Good boys...And you Rose, don't cry okay? Your brother will stop soon..."

Satsuki pat Shou gently on the back, kissing the little baby's forehead. "Shh, it's ok..." Shou quieted down some at the touch and held on to Satsuki's shirt with his little fingers.

Near there, Reita, Ruki, Uruha, Aoi, Tora and Hiroto were taking a walk, most of them still eating ice cream bought a while ago. Reita suddenly stopped talking in the middle of an exciting story, drawing indignant huffs from the group. "Shush... I think I hear a baby crying..."
Ruki frowned and listened closer. "Hey, I think you're right." He muttered, moving a little closer towards the sound of the cries.

Reita looked carefully around the corner, seeing just a blonde tending to his child. "I think it's nothing, the dad is with him..."

Ruki looked around the corner as well and hit Reita's arm lightly. "Reita, that's Kyo." He whispered.

Reita hit Ruki back. "Where!? Oh! I havent seen him before! Who's the blonde?"

Uruha smirked. "Maybe he's Kyo's mate? The one he was having fun with two nights ago? But I wonder why he never told us about it..."

Aoi's eyes widened as he took a quick look. "Come on guys..." He muttered, pulling them away from the alley. "That's the angel. I remember from when Kyo had me help take him down to the dungeons. They have kids now too."

Tora just stared at him, feeling dizzy."You're kidding, right? They can't have any kids! He's a angel! a prisoner!" He hissed, slapping Uruha's hand away when he pinched his arm, telling him to shut up and speaking in much more hushed tones."How'd they get four children in three days? How does that thing reproduce anyway?...I wonder if they’re running away.. Should we tell someone?"
Hiroto put his hand on Tora's arm, trying to get him to calm down. "I don't see why it's a problem." He said quietly. "What if they're in love and just want to be alone?"

Reita nodded, happy to finally find someone who agreed with him. "They are not harming anyone, let them be... I think we should be quiet about this."

Ruki nodded, understanding a bit what Reita was saying. "I guess so..." Aoi nodded as well. As long as no one got hurt, he could keep his mouth shut.

Reita leaned his head on Ruki's shoulder, feeling a little depressed for them. Having to hide and run should be a terrible thing. He sighed, pulling Ruki in the direction of the school by their joined hands. "We'll be late for class... come on guys."

"Let's keep them in the bags a little more, Satsuki, we're still too close to the school. There might be students around... Do you think we can put him back now? We can stop hiding them once we're inside the train..." Kyo walked to the angel, offering his free arm to Shou. "Come here, little one..."

Satsuki reluctantly gave Shou back to Kyo, frowning a little. "Why can't I keep him with me?"

"Because people know me here. It's still very early in the morning, nobody really travels at this hour, that's why we can get them out on the train... come on, don't be mad, ok?" He zipped the bags, handing the one with Shou and Rose to Satsuki. "Let's move fast, we're close to the station."

Satsuki nodded and held the bag delicately in his arms like it was the greatest treasure. "Don't be afraid." He whispered to his babies before beginning to walk to the station with Kyo.

Kyo tried to act naturally, but was feeling a little paranoid. He kept looking at his side, checking his mate and the people around him. Once at the station he bought the tickets quickly and they boarded on the train. At least until now they all the cart to themselves. "We can take them out now... I'll ask for some bottles when the attendant come..."

Satsuki nodded and took Shou and Rose out of the bag, holding one in each arm. He kissed them both, glad they were safe.

Kyo opened his bag to see Hitsugi and Sana clawing each other. "Hey hey! Stop you two.." He hold one on each of his arms, but Sana kept trying to hit his brother. Kyo shook his head to himself, smiling. "This will be a tough one." Kicking the bags aside, he sat in the corridor seat, poking all of his children softly, the kids laughing and trying to get a hold of his finger. He frowned when it was Shou's turn though..."Hey what.." He tried something else instead of finishing his sentence, shaking his wrist full of bracelets in front of the baby's head. Shou looked up to the general direction of his wrist, his little hands grabbing just air a few times before he was able to get his hand.

"There's something wrong with him..." Satsuki said softly, waving his hand in front of Shou's face. The baby didn't respond to that. He then remembered Shou had only calmed down when he was touched and spoken to before. "I don't think he can see, Kyo."
Kyo felt crushed for a second, not knowing how to react. But with a deep breath he relaxed, smiling to his kid. He rubbed the little face softly with a hand, leaning to kiss Shou's cheek. "It's gonna be okay... We will learn, he will learn too. And he have three brothers to take care of him..."

Satsuki smiled a little bit and nodded. At least they were all alive. "And you know, Sana doesn't seem to bug him as much as he bugs Hitsugi and Rose. I think he senses that Shou needs him a little more."

"Yeah, he will be a good, if not a little bossy, older brother. He was strong since the beginning." Kyo snuggled on the seat, laying Sana and Hitsugi carefully on his torso. With on deep breath, he closed his eyes... Now that he could relax he was feeling really tired.

Satsuki watched Kyo with two children on top of him, wishing he could take a picture of the adorable scene. He couldn't wait until they were dropped off and could start their new lives as a family. No worries of being caught.

After six exhausting hours inside the train, they have finally reached the station. It was a cozy little town with one inn, one clothing store, one supermarket. Typical, probably everyone knew each other. A woman, the first one he had seen in years, even came to talk with Satsuki and coo at the babies while he was getting their only bag with some difficulty."Hey love, let's go. It's right up the hill." They walked for ten minutes before reaching some stone steps and three more to reach the top, panting. But it was worth it, the house was old, but perfect. "It's huge..." He walked to the door, using the keys given to him. The door creaked loudly and he soon realized that the lights didn't work and that dust was covering every centimeter. "Well...needs work. But what you think?"

Satsuki wrinkled his nose as he looked around. "Does it even have running water?" He asked. He wanted to make sure it was safe for the babies too.

"I don't know...let's see." He walked through the house, opening all doors until he found a bathroom. When he turned the knob, it was like the whole house was screaming in agony, trying to get the century old pipes to work. But after some seconds, water did came out, rusty at first, but clear a moment later. "Let's stay in the Inn until we can at least clean the house and fix a few things. The school will sustain us since they think I'll be guarding you all the time... So we can spend on the house... It's not like they don’t have enough anyway."

Satsuki nodded, glad they didn't have to stay here while it was not fit to live in. "Let's go back to the Inn then, this is depressing..." He muttered.

Kyo laughed, sprinting ahead of him. "I like it." He was almost skipping to the inn, speaking nonsense to his children, who just laughed and cried in delight when their dad jumped. He had a good feeling about this place.

Satsuki followed behind Kyo, pretending that he didn't know him until they reached the inn.
