Rose sighed and rolled his eyes, ignoring the chuckling Kang, who was easily getting one of their kids dressed. The other five had ran away just in their underwear and socks. Just great. He groaned, running from the room and down the stairs, having listened to little feet stomping down the wooden stairs. "Come on guys, that's not funny!" But his kids obviously thought that it was great fun, Ueda running from behind the couch to the kitchen, hiding behind Satsuki's legs. When he got close, Jin jumped out from the kitchen table, giggling like a madman. "Jin, your turn, come up!" Kang yelled from upstairs, and the little boy just gasped and made haste to obey his father. The blonde rolled his eyes again and sat on the kitchen counter, adjusting Maru in his lap when the little one came crying about hurting his finger. "How the hell does he do that?" He looked to his mom and motioned up, to where his mate was tending to the kids. "Because you don't beat them enough." Satsuki joked, smiling at Rose and his troublesome little grandchildren. That made him sound old though, even though he looked just as young as he ever did. He was busy making a cake for his youngest son, Toshiya, whose birthday was today. Kyo walked into the kitchen, with one kid in each arm and other attached to his back. "Look at what I've found." He kissed Satsuki's cheek and leaned on the counter beside his son. "Where's Toshiya?" "He's picking up some things for me while I prepare everything for the party." Satsuki answered, moving over to Kyo to kiss his cheek as well. "Did you get a present for him?" "Of course, I got him the full package for that trip he talked about last week. The adventure trip, remember? Lots of walking through the jungle, climbing mountains, riding a bike and sleeping on the ground with a bunch of unknown people. Just not my kind of thing... I wonder what's the fun in it." "Getting away from the family." Satsuki replied, smirking a bit, as he stuck the cake in the oven. "He's getting to that age when they want to run away from us." Little Ueda, attached to Kyo's back, smiled. "Running away from mommy is fun, that's why I like it too!" He nodded, happy with his conclusion. Rose laughed, letting Maru go so he could dress, and taking his other kid from his father's back, holding him close. "Don't worry, mom, he just likes nature and adventure. Nobody would like to run away from you." He said sweetly, getting up and motioning for his kids to follow him up the stairs. "Is it bad that I still don't want to let our last one go?" Satsuki asked as he moved over to hug Kyo. It seemed like they grew up so fast. Though, at least Toshiya hadn't chosen a mate yet. Kyo laughed, holding his mate close and sighing. "It's okay to think like that. But don't worry too much about it. You know that Rose will stay here with us and the others visit us as much as they can. And once we're by ourselves, we can visit them just as much." Satsuki nodded as he rest against Kyo. That was true, all his sons were good about coming back and visiting. In fact, the whole family would be together today. It was exciting to see them all together again.
Sana sighed as the students left the classroom to go back to their dorm rooms. He looked out the window and touched his stomach lightly. He’d been trying for years to have a child again, but ever since the first one was killed before it had the chance to live...nothing happened. Aki walked into the room, dressed in cotton pants and a shirt with the logo of the school. He was now in charge of some sports clubs, and that pleased him greatly. The demon walked to his mate, slowly sliding his arms around him and kissing his neck. "Hey beautiful, what are you thinking?" Sana turned slightly, looking at Aki and gently pushing him back. "Have you ever wished for a different mate? One that could give you a child?" He asked softly. Aki frowned, and hugged the other close to him, looking in his eyes. "Don't be stupid, Sana." He said, serious. "I love you and, yes, I am sad because we can't have a child of our own. But that's it. I've never thought about leaving you. Ever. Besides, Rose has enough kids for us to spoil." He smiled softly, trying to cheer up his mate. Sana nodded a bit and laid his head on Aki's shoulder. He was still noticeably depressed, but he didn’t say anything more on the subject. He was going to help Toshiya get ready for his party later on and that was at least something to look forward to. "We still have to pick out an outfit for Toshiya's present that will give our dad a heart attack." Aki laughed, poking his mate's exposed belly. "And here I thought you had already done that with all this skin on display." He walked away from Sana, tugging on his hand and walking to the corridors that lead to the little apartment they had inside the school. "Let's get ready then, we have to meet Shou and Sakito at the station in three hours. Shinya is not coming, something about school tests." "And being anti-social." Sana commented, as he picked through his things in the apartment's closet to change into his party clothes. Not that different from his work clothes really. Still showed of his midriff. Aki grabbed a towel and walked to the bathroom to take a shower. "Yeah! I wonder why he's so quiet and shy, having two sweet and wonderful parents." Sana dressed into his new clothes and started doing his hair and makeup, putting a few things into a bag to use on Toshiya later. "Better than Rose's little terrors." "I love those kids!" He laughed, loud enough to be heard even with the shower running. "They all act like Rose, even if their father is so quiet and composed! But they listen to whatever Kang has to say. It's weird, but very funny to say at least." He quickly finished his shower and left the bathroom wearing dark jeans, walking beside were Sana was standing to pick a shirt. "Yes, they are all like Rose." Sana said, as if that explained everything. He then hugged Aki and kissed his shoulder, picking up a shirt for his mate that he thought looked particularly nice on him. Aki accepted the shirt with a kiss on the hand that handed it to him. He then walked to the mirror and nodded to himself, satisfied with his image. "Okay, are we ready to go?" He walked to the bag that had been packed last night with the things they would need for the weekend.
"Shou? Shou, are you there?" Sakito walked into the main office, holding his tummy that was already quite big. Inside, he found his mate reading some documents written in braille and smiled, Shou had been so happy after they opened the school for people with special needs. He could finally do something, start something that was his idea and belonged to him. "We still have some time, but we will be meeting your brother today, love." Shou reached out for Sakito, motioning him over. "How's our second coming along?" He asked, smiling over at his mate. Sakito grabbed Shou's hand and placed it on his belly, moving it around until he found the spot where the baby was kicking. "He's fine and very strong, I must say. He loves kicking me!" Shou smiled and leaned over to kiss Sakito's belly. "It's good to have strong ones." He then stood up and touched Sakito's cheek, leaning in to kiss him too. "Shall we go? I'm pretty much done here." "Yes, let's go." He grasped Shou's hand and placed it on his arm, guiding his mate out of the office and school. "Shinya is at school already, he told me to apologize to you about not being able to go with us to the station." He leaned down to peck the other's cheek and smirked, speaking in a whisper. "But you know what? I think the real reason he wants to stay is that handsome redhead he's been talking about." Shou frowned some at that. "A handsome redhead, huh?" He asked, a little unsure about that, being the dad and all. He had to make sure that his baby got the best mate. "Don't worry, I think the redhead doesn't even know Shinya likes him yet." He laughed, opening the door to their house. "Here we are, are you gonna change before we go?" He went to the kitchen to fetch a glass of water, secure about leaving Shou to move on his own inside the house. "No, that's all right. I'll just grab my brother's present and we can meet Sana and Aki." Shou said, moving around easily to where the present was located, picking it up off the kitchen counter. "Okay." Sakito picked up their bags that were laying on the table and grasped Shou's hand once again. "Do you think Sana will be upset because Hitsugi and I are pregnant? He's tried so hard..." The demon bit his lower lip, feeling a little guilty. "Don't worry about it." Shou said, squeezing Sakito's hand lightly. "I'll try to cheer him up if he's depressed about it." "Okay... I'm sure he will be happy to see you. Even if he saw you three days ago." He smiled, remembering old times. "I'm sure being back home with your family will feel different." "Well, you will be back at the house you lived all your life and all your brothers will be there. I know that I feel good when reunited with my brothers... I feel... safe and loved." They reached the station and sat on the white benches to wait for Sana and Aki. Shou sat next to Sakito on the bench and rest his head against the other's shoulder. "It will definitely bring back memories. I love that house." He said before he suddenly squeezed Sakito's hand. "They're here."
Hitsugi huffed and drew in deep breaths, trying to fill his lungs with air. He gave up and sat on the stone steps, motioning for Yomi to wait for him. "Wait, I can't. Too many of them." He would be delivering their firstborn very soon, maybe less then a week, and it was wearing on him now. His belly was huge and even the steps he climbed easily all his life, were now a almost an impossible quest. They lived close by, but in the last days, it was always his parents who went down the steps to visit. Yomi stopped and hopped back down a few steps to wait by Hitsugi, holding onto the other's arm. "Next year we should hold the party some where else." He commented, sliding his arm around his mate's waist to help support him. Hitsugi laughed, getting up with great effort, breathing hard. "I don't think I'll be pregnant next year, right?" He built up courage, and resumed his climbing of the steps. His dad was at the top, smirking at them, one of Rose's kids in his arms. "Hey kids, need any help there?" "Well, we don't know about that." Yomi said with a little smirk as he continued to help Hitsugi up the last few stairs. Kyo motioned inside after greeting his son's mate. "Let's get in, you probably want to sit down." "We know Hitsu does." Yomi said as he gently pat his mate on the back before picking up Rose's little one and spinning him around. He couldn't wait until his own child was born. Hitsugi smiled and fell on the couch once he was inside. "Mooomm! Come to see your little pregnant son! I need love!" Satsuki just finished icing the cake and he set the knife down to go over to Hitsugi's side. He pet the other's hair in sympathy. "Poor Hitsugi." He said, rubbing the large belly. He of course never had this problem, so he didn't really know how it felt. Hitsugi smiled, leaning on his mother's side and hugging him close. "It's pretty cool actually. Just a lot of work." He kissed Satsuki's cheek and looked around, greeting Rose when he came down with Kang and the rest of the kids. "Toshiya is not here yet? Sana and Shou will be arriving soon." "Sana will be getting Toshiya ready I guess." Satsuki said, hugging Hitsugi back before standing up to fuss over the details some more. Kyo shook his head, getting up to go after his mate. He grabbed the angel around the waist and guided him back to the living room. "Everything is fine! Sit down and relax a little bit, I will serve some drinks." Satsuki was about to protest, but at that moment, the rest of the family arrived and Satsuki had to accept the fact that everything had to stay as it was. He moved over to greet the birthday boy, who looked very much done up in Sana's style, with jeans that had large rips in them to reveal his legs and a shirt that only had a few buttons done. It wasn't as bad as it could be at least. Hitsugi didn't move from his place on the couch, but released a loud exclamation, pointing to his brother. "Oh my god, what happened to you? Last time I saw you, you had long, black hair! And that was yesterday!" He groaned and puffed, but got up, going to pet the short, brown hair that now adorned his little brother's head. Toshiya laughed a bit and ducked away from Hitsugi's touch. "I wanted a change. I think your belly has grown bigger since yesterday." Hitsugi smiled, putting a hand under his belly. "It probably did. He's growing fast and it's so heavy!" Kyo came from the kitchen with the drinks, but happily let everything go the table to go hug and kiss his family. "I missed you all so much!" He soundly kissed Shou's cheek. Shou hugged his father quickly and moved around to greet Hitsugi next. Sana, on the other hand, stayed by the entrance and just watched as his family talked and hugged each other. Aki looked at him from over Yomi's shoulder, arching an eyebrow. He decided to go to him and ask what's wrong, but Kyo beat him to it. "Sana, why are you standing there? Come here!" He hugged his son tight, kissing his cheek as well, one hand petting the dark hair. "You're okay, kid?" He backed away just enough to look in his son's eyes, trying to read them. "I think I'm coming down with something." Sana said softly, smiling a bit at his father. Shou moved back over to Sana and touched him arm lightly. "Why don't you sit down then?" He suggested, figuring they could talk some while everyone was busy with Toshiya's party. Kyo let go of Sana, still worried, but knowing that Shou would take care of it. It was probably hard for Sana to see all his brothers full of what he would probably never be able to have. Shaking his head to himself, he walked to Toshiya, poking him in the right side to get his attention. "Are your friends coming soon?" Kyo smirked and pushed him in the direction of the three brothers that didn't live with them. "Then go speak with your brothers, you all need to interact more." Toshiya made a face at Kyo as he walked over to his brothers to listen in on what they were talking about. Shou nudged Sana's side to get him to talk to him when he sat down, but Sana pretended to ignore Shou until he tugged rather roughly on his brother's hair. Sana frowned, not used to the rough treatment from Shou. "What?" "You're not telling the truth." Shou commented, crossing his arms. "Don't make me say it. You know what's wrong with me." Sana muttered softly, looking down. "Sana, you need to stop worrying about it or try something else. Have you ever thought about adoption or maybe trying to have Aki bear the child?" Shou suggested. Sana looked over at Shou with a raised eyebrow. "I couldn't ask that of him. He's not a breeder." Sana whispered, glancing over at Aki for a moment. Hitsugi, who was now sitting right beside Sana and had heard all, leaning over his older brother to whisper. "But I'm sure he wouldn't mind! It's just so rare he's never thought about it, the poor thing!" He sneaked a glance at his mate, who was talking to Aki and keeping him busy. Sana still looked nervous as he watched his mate before nodding slightly. "I guess I could talk to him about it." Shou smiled and hugged his brother's side, hoping that the idea would cheer him up some. "What are you guys talking about?" Toshiya asked, sitting on the arm of the couch. Hitsugi didn't even have to think about it to know that Sana would not be comfortable sharing the problem. "Adult talk. Now explain these huge holes in your pants! Trying to impress someone who's not here yet?" He smirked, reaching over Sana and Shou to poke his little brother's side. Toshiya pouted and bat Hitsugi's hand away. "Maybe. And what do you mean 'adult talk'? I'm an adult." "Hardly." Sana said, smirking slightly and giving Toshiya a light push. "You still sleep with teddy bears." Hitsugi giggled, loving to see the pout on his brother's face when he was teased. Rose walked to them and sprawled his much larger frame on Shou's lap, smirking at Toshiya. "Yeah, but I think he's forgetting to tell you that he slept with teddy bears until he found Yomi to sleep with." "Who is basically a teddy bear." Toshiya commented, watching Hitsugi's small mate play with a few of Rose's kids. "Have you found a possible mate?" Shou asked Toshiya curiously, turning his head to the youngest brother. Toshiya stayed quiet at that and pulled a little at one of the strings on his ripped jeans. Hitsugi poked Toshiya a little harder at the comment, but the smile never let his face. In fact, it grew bigger at the startled look on Rose's face at the youngest brother's silence. "Oh my, you did? Why don't I know about this? I live right here, under the same roof!" "Well, I'm not sure yet..." Toshiya muttered, blushing some. He didn't want to say much too early if he was wrong. He really didn't know anything about the guy, just that he was handsome and had a really nice smile. "Hey!" Shou protested, pushing the two off his lap. "I am not a chair." Toshiya took that moment to escape and excuse himself to get a drink and run away from Rose's questions. The truth was, he planned on stopping by the school later, around the time when exams would be finishing up, to see if he could catch a glimpse of that hot redhead that he'd seen before. Rose sighed and glared at his brother from his spot on the ground, but it quickly faded when all of his kids came running at him, hugging him around the neck, sitting on his lap and telling little silly secrets in his ears. He smiled lovingly at each one of them, caressing their soft hair and adjusting falling clothes, looking now more like a caring mother then a silly, childish blonde. Hitsugi just bit his lower lip, sneaking a glance at Sana, now sightly uncomfortable. Sana just smiled though and excused himself to go talk to Aki for a minute. Shou smirked slightly, pretty sure he knew what that conversation would be about.
Kyo sat beside Satsuki, poking him to get his attentions. "I think we should bring the cake now. Everybody is here, some food would be great." Satsuki nodded and went to get the cake from the kitchen to bring it over to the table. He lit the candles and set it on the kitchen table so Toshiya could blow them out. Toshiya leaned over the candles and closed his eyes, making his birthday wish before blowing all the candles out. Rose leaned down to whisper on Toshiya's ear, smirking. "You wished for the hot guy you had been eyeing, didn't you?" Toshiya elbowed him, and cut Rose's piece really, really small. "None of your business." He stated. The little demon dropped the task though when Hitsugi offered to help Toshiya with the cake, disappearing in the kitchen for a few seconds. He came back with a little box in his hands, motioning for Satsuki to join him for this moment. "Hey Totchi, this is for you, from me and your mother, I hope you like it." Toshiya turned and took the box from his parents, smiling at them both. He opened it excitedly and saw all the things he needed to go on his trip inside. He hugged them both tightly. "Thanks so much!" He exclaimed. "This is great, I'm already all packed for this trip." "We know, and decided you should keep your money to spend on the trip, not to buy the package. Well, if you ever meet civilization on your trip, that is!" Kyo snickered, grabbing a plate of cake for himself. Toshiya happily tucked the box away and picked up a piece of cake for himself. "Ok, everyone else bring your presents forward!" He exclaimed, sitting down, ready to be spoiled.
Toshiya fixed his hair as he waited for his secret crush to walk by. He was hanging out around the school's entrance, fidgeting nervously. What would he say? They didn't really know each other and Toshiya wasn't even sure Die would recognize him. Shinya stretched, walking slowly to the school's entrance, feeling tired and more than ready to leave. He would take a long shower and then curl up on the bed with Die, watching a movie and drinking hot chocolate, fully enjoying the absence of the redhead's parents. Yes, life was good. Toshiya blushed at being found by his nephew. "Um..." He paused, trying to come up with a believable excuse. "I wanted to see you! Yeah, because you didn't go to my party." Shinya smiled, walking to the other and hugging him. "I'm sorry, I had to take some tests at school. I finally finished them today though... I hope grandma and grandpa aren't too mad at me too." In that moment, a tall redhead hugged Shinya around the shoulders, smiling at him and making the poor boy jump in surprise. "Hey Shin, you left me behind! Oh, hello." He turned his smile to Toshiya, trying to remember where he had seen the other before. "D-die. This is my uncle, Toshiya." Shinya's voice was low and he was beet red, struggling to form the words. "T-toshiya, that's Die, my...hm..friend." Toshiya stared at the two for a moment before nodding and managing a small, fake smile. "Hey..." He said, wishing for nothing more than to sink into the ground. This was beyond awful, his nephew got to Die before him and he couldn't break them up because Shinya was family. They looked pretty close anyway. Almost like they could've already mated. Shinya nodded, smiling a little bit and finally looking up. "Yeah, what do you say about some coffee, uncle Toshiya?" He slapped the redhead's hand from his shoulder, but intertwined it with his own after that. Maybe he could ask about some advice from Toshiya, he was just a year older and could help. Shinya still had to tell his parents he had found someone to mate with. "Ah, actually, I still have some packing to do." Toshiya lied, just so he wouldn't have to be in the awkward and a little painful situation. "You know, I finally got that trip I wanted." Shinya just pouted, letting go of Die's hand to hug his uncle once more. "In that case, we probably should be going. I will tell dad you're in town. Bye!" He turned around, walking down the street and pulling the redhead with him. "Enjoy your trip and take a lot of photos!" He called over his shoulder before disappearing behind a building. Toshiya sighed to himself and put a hand to his forehead. "I suck at this mating thing." He muttered to himself before he started walking back to the train station. He really hoped his trip would turn out to be a really good one, because he needed something to cheer him up.
The time had arrived when Kirito would take the child as his mate. Mika knew this, Kohta had told her what his older brother was planning and so Mika came up with a plan as she brushed out Miyavi’s hair. “Miyavi...are you happy here in heaven?” She asked softly. Miyavi sighed, playing with the rings on his left hand. "I guess. Why do you ask? It's my home, I have nowhere else to go." He stretched a little, looking to the white snow that always covered every inch of heaven. Sometimes he longed to go to Hell, experience the sun, hot on his skin, and the grass beneath his feet. Everything he knew about that place he had learned from books though, never being allowed to leave his world. "I'm going to tell you a secret." Mika said, moving in front of Miyavi to look into his eyes. "You came from Hell originally. Your mother is an angel, but he was living in Hell for quite some time. Your father is a demon. Kohta stole you away before they even got to see you hatch." Miyavi just stared at the female angel who had raised him, smiling after a few seconds. "Ha! You almost got me there. For a moment I believed I had something to do with the demons down there." He got up, walking to his dresser to find some robes for the day. "Besides, uncle Kohta would never do that, he's too nice." Mika sighed to herself and followed Miyavi, not giving up. She wasn't going to let her nephew be mated off to Kirito. "It's true, Kohta is very nice...But Kirito is not. He's going to try to mate with you and if you don't leave, you'll be stuck with him." "Your mother is the prince, next in line to be king. Kirito just needs to marry into royal blood to be able to rule. If you don't believe how cruel he is, just remember what he did to me." Mika turned and pulled the back of her robe down some to show the scars of where Kirito had dewinged her. "He'll do the same to you, so no one will see your impurities." Miyavi looked at her, biting his lower lip. Deep down, he always knew this wasn't his place, had always felt like an outsider and always wondered about his wings. But... all Mika had said was a little too much to believe, a lot of information and too little time. "Y-You're really telling me the truth, aren't you?" He was not doubting her, for that he could never do, but he was trying to assure himself of what he had waiting down there, of what he had missed. "I...I really have a mother? And father? Are they alive?" He sat down on his bed, suddenly trying to precess all he failed to believe minutes before. Mika sat down on the bed as well, nodding. "Yes, your mother and father are both alive and well. You also have brothers you've never met before. A whole family. Do you want to meet them?" Miyavi looked at his own hands, tracing the tattoos nervously. He wanted to meet them? After a whole life living in heaven, suddenly knowing you belonged to the other half was a lot to accept, knowing that he had a family was almost...too much. He shook his head to himself and sighed, he wasn't happy living here, he longed to go down and that was no secret. "I...I want to see them. C-can I do that? Watch them for a while before meeting them?" He chewed on his lower lip, sliding one of his hands to Mika's lap, clenching his fist around her white skirt, silently asking for help and protection. All of the sudden, his world was a lot less boring and much more scary. "I can help you leave and go to Hell, but I have to stay here." Mika said, putting her hand over Miyavi's. "It may take a while, but I know you will find your family. Just hide your wings when you get there. Not everyone is kind to angels or half breeds. You look like a demon though, so you'll do fine." Miyavi looked at Mika with a bemused expression. "We're going to do it now? I need to pack and find out something about the place and..." He stopped, suddenly realizing he knew very little about Hell. "I'm scared..." "We'll pack now. And don't worry. Hell isn't that different from Heaven...just less snow." Mika said, pulling her nephew closer to give him a small hug. Miyavi nodded shakily, looking down at himself and his robes. "W-what do I take? Do they use clothes like this down there too? A-and how will I find them?" He was nearly panicking now, the realization that he was really running away to hell hitting him with full force. Miyavi threw every single thing he owned on the bed, groaning at the large quantity of robes and angelic clothes. He had read somewhere that demons where a lot less formal on this subject. Mika started picking out the things that she thought demons might wear and setting them aside for Miyavi to bring with him. "Ask for someone named Saga. He will let you know where your parents are." Mika said, adding a few more things to the pile of clothes before she started putting everything in a bag for Miyavi to take. Miyavi nodded, changing in his clothes into more informal ones. He gulped, looking at his own reflection on the mirror. "How will we leave? If Kirito really wants me like this, he probably sent guards to the gates." "Because Kohta's in on this too. He sent the guards away." Mika replied, moving to the door and quickly glancing around to make sure no one was around. Miyavi grabbed his bag, trying to calm his shaking body down while walking behind Mika. "This is all so sudden... Why didn't you say anything to me before?" "I'm sorry, but it was better to wait until you were older. You wouldn't have understood it as a child." Mika replied, shoving Miyavi out towards the gates. "I'll contact you later. I promise." Miyavi chewed on his lower lip, watching the open gates with a fearful expression. It was the first time he had ever seen them open, and the big gold doors where a bit scary. With a deep breath, he stepped through, wondering what he would find on the other side... just to be suddenly very high in the sky, in a quick free fall that made the ground come closer every second. He screamed his lungs out for almost five seconds before remembering his wings, spreading them as fast as he could, trying to make a smooth landing. Toshiya wiped some sweat off his forehead. He was on his first hike in the mountains and he sat down to drink some water from his canteen. During that break, he glanced up into the sky and, for a moment, thought he saw someone falling from the clouds. He frowned to himself, shaking his head. Maybe he was seeing things. Miyavi was able to soften his fall, but not to land with grace. At all. He groaned when he hit the ground, knees giving in and making him fall face first in the dirt. He was even lucky enough to land on the only part of the mountain that was not covered with soft green grass, filling his mouth full of sand. "Oh fuck..." He groaned, trying to get up and hoping no one had seen his disgraceful arrival. Toshiya heard some noise in the bushes beyond and he pushed himself up, deviating off the path some so that he could go see what was making so much noise.
