An Adventure Series for Young Adults
On the first day of second grade, I told a fabulous fib.  A fib about the secret door in the floor beneath my bed.  I thought believable but the other kids did not.

I believe they would have liked to believe

But when soon to be seventh grader Maggie lifted up the gray carpet under her bed and ran her fingers over the innate etching of the secret door in the floor, she realized her father had been preparing her.

North, East, South, and West holds the key of who will be your journeymen her father had said.  Find them.  Each will have a door, but yours is the only one that will unlock the others.

With the help of the mysterious guidebook Maggie finds hidden in the house, she uncovers who of the most unlikely characters in her class will partner with her to battle the evils of The Artic World.

Two boys.  Two girls.  Maggie is the guide leader, opening the first door, and pulling her 3 newfound friends in with her to a magical unknown world.

This foursome will lead us on a journey to a world we never knew existed, a world just beneath our homes, beneath our schools.

One that will change their lives, shape their fears, and form their dreams.

Time stands still until the mystery of the four doors is solved.  Will these seventh graders graduate and move on to the eighth grade?  What adventure awaits for them there?  Or are they too naive to realize that the adventure is over or has it only just begun?
