Continued: The Puppy Princess
Book#1 in The Puppy Princess Series
"I can hear the thuds on the deck as you bounce back and forth on the boat deck," Tut says as he imagines.

Thud. Thud.

King Tut continues, "The sea water smells so good and I can feel the wind blow through my long mane as I race down the side of the boat with you.  I can feel the thuds underneath my paws right now as I bounce off the boat deck and jump for the birds."

"I can feel something, too," Caboodle says.

"Me too," Lollie says.

"And me," adds Marilyn.

The group of 4 canines fall silent as they slowly cock their ears to listen.

"Wow!  Did you feel that!" King Tut exclaims excitedly as the floor beneath him trembles in sync with the loud thuds. "There it is again!"

"That one brought my paws off the ground," Lollie says.

"I don't know what it could be," Caboodle says puzzled.

King Tut watches from across the aisle as Marilyn runs to the back of her cage and hides.  Boom.  Boom.  It gets louder.  King Tut feels the menacing thuds underneath his paws and becomes a little uneasy.  He glances down the aisle and doesn't see anything.

"Caboodle! Can you see anything?" King Tut says anxiously.

"What makes you think I can see what it is?"

"You're super tall that's why."

"I may be a larger breed of dog than you Tut, and I do admit that I am taller than the 3 of you, but I assure you I can only see over the rail into Marilyn's cage.  My dear,  I am not a giraffe."

The booms get louder and louder and the four canine friends exchange nervous looks.

Tut glances at Marilyn who looks pretty safe curled up in the far corner of her pen. Tut thinks that is pretty smart, so he rushes back to the far end of his cage as well.
