| It gets louder and louder. Boom. Boom. Boom.
"Hit the decks!" Lollie yells as she dives for the back of her pen as the booms gets closer. Not easily spooked due to her size, Caboodle, looking confused, casually strolls to the back of her cage as well and sits there listening intently. What in the world could that be, she thought. She thinks back. What makes a boom noise like that and shakes the floor? She thinks back to when she was lying on the cool kitchen tile of her previous home. It instantly comes back to her. She can hear the music ringing in her ears. She jumps up quickly as she can't wait to share the good news with the others. "Oh my, gosh! It's the ice cream truck!" She jumps around back and forth excitedly, shaking the floor herself. "Oh my gosh, Frosty Paws for all of us!" "Frosty Paws! Are you sure?" Tut says as he gets up excitedly. "I am positive! I know this booming sound. Oh my, gosh! I can't wait!" Caboodle can hardly contain herself. She dances back and forth across her cage yelling, Frosty Paws! Frosty Paws! We're getting Frosty Paws! "Who wants frosty paws? I know I don't. But if either of you do, I can most certainly direct you to the cold silver table in the mad scientist's room," Lollie the Collie says slowly, a bit confused. "Not frosty paws, Frosty Paws! The ice cream treat made especially for dogs," Caboodle the big black Toy poodle says jumping up and down with all 80 pounds of her might. Tut chimes in, "My dear Lollie, they are only the singular most heavenly thing in all the world. The cool, rich creamy texture. Oh, it just melts in your mouth," Tut shivers just thinking about it. "Have you ever had Frosty Paws, Marilyn?" Lollie asks. "No. I've never heard of such a thing. Could it really exist?" Marilyn replies. Lollie feels relieved that she's not the only one. "Could it exist!" Caboodle interjects. "Marilyn, Lollie. Girls, just because you've never heard of something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. There is an infinite world out there for all who seek it." "Oh, no. Not again," Tut rolls his eyes and lays down. |
