feel safe, too.  Were all waiting to be adopted and though none of us want to break apart from our new friends weve made here, this is not a home.  Marilyn, you are the luckiest dog in the world right now to have such a nice couple wanting to take you home.  All they want to do is love you.  And I promise we will all stay in touch.  You have only just begun to see the world,  King Tut lays down .  His thoughts wonder to one of his previous owners, the pilot, whom he traveled with far and wide to unimaginable places.  Oh, how he would like to travel again, and to go on such important journeys.  But for right now the only journey he is dreaming of is a nice home, a family with a young boy wholl be his pal and a goose down comforter.  Tut drifts off dreamily as he faintly hears the voices of Marilyns new owners coming up the aisle.

Marilyn sits up at the front of her cage.  She peers once again down the aisle and gets scared as she sees the couple coming her way.  Shes not sure what she should do.  She runs and hides in the back of her cage, and curls up in a tiny ball.

The young couple walk up to the front of her cage.

Oh, look!  She is even more beautiful than I had remembered!  Look how pretty her coat is and her cute, little ears and her big, fluffy, yellow tail!  the young woman exclaims.

The young man turns to the red lipstick lady, This is the puppy we would like.  Has she been adopted yet?

No.  Shes really going to make a great companion.  Give her a few months and I think shell be your most loyal friend.  Let me take her out of her cage and well take her to the yard so you can spend some time with her.  She had some playmates with her and they did nothing but play all day.  But since they were adopted shes been a little shy,  the red lipstick lady unfastens Marilyns cage.

Marilyn is led off down the aisle with the red lipstick lady and the nice young couple.

Marilyn passes Caboodle and Lollie on the way out to the yard and they both give her a paws up and are both grinning ear to ear.  Marilyn thinks they wouldnt be so happy unless this was something good.  Marilyn smiles too and decides this is a new beginning as they head out to the play yard.
