Ivy got into my kitchen waste basket and ate the grapes that I had thrown out. She was so proud of h rself!! Lauren, I hope this week is ending for you much better than when it began. The sun came out again, but we have severe weather coming again. I hate that part of Spring. Hello Lauren!! I'm hoping you are finished with this round of chemo and can go home for a few days. Hope you saw the picture of Ivy in your MSU hat---I'm sure it looks better on you than on Ivy. My wild geraniums and wood hyacinth are blooming and they bo h are a beautiful lavender. The flowers on your tree are gone so I will trim it a little so it can grow some strong roots. Happy Wednesday, Lauren! We had some very loud thunder storms last night with bright lightning and lots of rain. Now it's much cooler and we like that. The little puppies born yesterday are doing fine--I can see them on my computer. they have been eating all day today so their little bellies are pretty round looking! I am going to send some pictures to Aunt Nean so she can show you and Timmy. I know that you are still getting your meds and I hope that today was better for you. Every day when Ivy and I ta e our walk I spend time asking God to make you better and I know he's listening. Hope you sleep well and have wonderful dreams!! Love, Margi

Hi Sweet Lauren! Heard you have been a sick little baby. I hope this passes soon for you--guess you don't feel like any M&M's. I saw Darby, a sweet yellow Lab like Kenzie, have 5 little puppies today. They are itsy, bitsy little babies that look like tiny piglets with smushed pink noses and tails only as long as your pointer finger. They squeak and tumble over and under each other as they snuggle with their momma. and can you believe that one little boy is green?--just like Kermit the Frog! OH, lauren! I love Jungle Book, it is my absolute most favorite movie! EXCEPT, I always fall asleep during that part when the snake is trying to put Mogli to sleep! Hang in there sweet girl!

Hi Lauren!! I had a party at my house today with my Mother, sisters, in-laws, and nephews. One of them graduated from college, MSU, so we hung green and white crepe paper on our trees! Ivy is so tired from trying to get hamburgers, hotdogs, fruit, and co kies so she is fast asleep on her blankie. She & I had our picture taken by your tree so I'll be sending it to Aunt Nean soon and she can give it to you. It's late now and I have to go and water your tree before dark. May your dreams be filled with M&M' , Jungle Book music, and pretty flowers to smell!! Love, Margi

Hi Lauren!! I am certain you had lots of fun with Aunt Nean at your house. We had a beautiful red Cardinal in our birdbath this afternoon. He gave himself a good splash and flew away. Hi Lauren! Hope you are having fun! I hear you like the Jungle Book, that is one of my favorite movies of all time! When I was a little girl, I used to dream of being able to live in the jungle with all the animals like Mowgli! I think I still would like hat. Hello Lauren! What a beautiful day we had here again. Ivy loves to be outside sniffing, rolling around in the grass, taking her walks, and helping me in my garden. She and the neighbor dogs had a long barking conversation this afternoon. The neighborho d Dalmation was having his walk and I think Ivy, Toby, and Misty wanted to go with him!! I've had a few birds in the new birdbath--hopefully, more will find it and stop by for a little splashing around. Sweet dreams, Lauren! Love, Margi

Dear Lauren, grandma is in Boston at a conference about children with disabilities. One thing I have learned is the the courage of a child with a serious issue is what keeps them going and motivates everyone who is involved, this is so true of you. You ke p the rest of us going. Hi Lauren! I guess you are in the hospital again. I'm still wishing there was a way to take away your suffering. Why little precious ones like you have to go through this has always puzzled me. Today was a beautiful Michigan spring day. Lots of sunshine nd blue skies. Ivy and I walked 6 miles so we are worn out. We saw a mom and dad duck in a very small puddle of water in the ditch by the sidewalk. I think they were deciding if it was the right place for them to set up their home. Hi Lauren!! Wow, looks like I'll have to rewrite my last 5 messages to you. I planted your tree and it's so beautiful and sweet smelling. It's as tiny as you are but will grow up to be tall and lovely, the same way you will be some day. Tonight I will t ke a picture and send it to you. I cried when I heard that you must have more chemo that will make you so sick. I wish so much I could wave a magic wand and take all of this away from you. Dear Lauren, this weekend has been a real rollercoaster ride in emotions. On Friday we were so disapointed that your test showed no change which ment that the chemo was not working. By late Friday night a new plan was in place, hopes soared again but fear is still lurking. Saturday was a great day, Timmy got his first goal ever in soccer and won the game for his team, you were there cheering him on and it was a normal fun day. There is no love like a grandparent has for their grandchildren and grandpa and are very lucky to have you, Timmy and Elizabeth to love. Sleep well little angel.

Well gang it looks like Lauren's Guestbook crashed! I archived all the messages up to April 25th, so if you wrote a message after that date, please feel free to write it again.
