Programs

Full Track and Field Programs are available for each age group - Grade 8, Junior (Gr 9/10) and Senior (Gr 11/12). 

Sprints & Hurdles Program

  • 100m, 200m & 400m sprints
  • 100m hurdles (girls), 110m hurdles (boys)
  • Practices 2 times per week
  • Coach Kim Longmuir

Middle Distance/Endurance Running Program

  • 800m, 1500m, 3000m (girls) & 5000m (boys)
  • Running both at the track, as well as on various local trails
  • Practices 3 times per week
  • Coach Randy Longmuir

Throws program

  • Javelin, Discus, Shot put
  • Weight training included
  • Practices 2 times per week
  • Coach Kaleb King

Jumps program

  • Long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault
  • Plyometrics included in training
  • Practices 2 times per week
  • Coaches Dave Morris and Owen Clements (pole vault)
