Tailgate Game Watch Dinner
Christmas Luncheon

What: "Tailgate Dinner" celebrating the success of the 2002 Irish and ND?USC game watch (4 TV's).
When: Saturday, November 30th.
Where: The downstairs grill at the Yahnundasis. For entry, use the door to the left and below the main entranceway. Follow signs inside. Best to park in the "mall side" parking lot of the Yuhnundasis.
Whom: "ND-Addicts" and Family members.
Time: (a) Pre-game Pep Rally with music of the Irish and refreshments (beer and soda) beginning at 7:00 PM.
"Tailgate Buffet dinner" (sausage & peppers, pizza and chicken wings) will begin at 7:45 PM.
Game watch will begin at 8:00 PM with the buffet and beverages being available throughout much of the evening.
Price: $15.00 per person (payable at the door) with the Club Treasury subsidizing the differential.
Required:
(a) Despite the "allergy" of members to commit to advance reservations, this is an absolute must by calling the Club's voice mail (315-794-9499) upon receipt of this communication no later than noon on Wednesday November 27th.
(b) Casual dresswear (collared shirt and no jeans).
The date for the Christmas Luncheon is Wednesday, December 18th (noon) at Tiny's.
For thos of you who have requested, Bob Jones is at home battling cancer and can be reached during the holiday period at 29 Mass Avenue, Ilion, New York 13357, phone number 315-894-4771.
As you are probably aware, the Club's growing scholarship fund is one that currently provides assistance to eight Mohawk Valley area students to ND. One source of contributions that have never tapped (but will be repeated in each newsletter as a reminder) is that upon a death, a family in writing the decedent's obituary will consider alternatives for the "in lieu of flowers" provision. Accordingly, the Club is proposing the idea that consideration be given to the "Scholarship Fund of the University of Notre Dame Club of the Mohawk Valley" since 100% of the dollars go to local beneficiaries without any administrative costs associated with the donation.
