Kevin Crumb is the recipient of the 1999 Notre Dame Club of Mohawk Valley Scholarship Award!!!
Kevin, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Fran Crumb (ND'67), is the youngest of seven children and a senior at Holland Patent Central School. He will be attending Notre Dame this fall, plans on pursuing a degree in American Studies at Notre Dame, and hopes to enter public service.
At Holland Patent, he is the Student Government vice president. He is also vice president of Intercepting Youth's Questions (IYQ), the school's peer leadership organization, and the International Club. He is a member of the National Honor Society, chorus and vocal ensemble. This spring he is a second baseman on the varsity baseball team, after having earned his varsity letter last spring in tennis.
Kevin was the recipient of his high school's 1998 "Xerox Award in the Humanities," awarded to the outstanding junior selected on the basis of scholarship in the humanities or social sciences, leadership and community service.
