Year End Contributions
There will be a football game watch party for the ND-USC game next Saturday, November 25th . The festivities will begin at 3:30 PM at Tiny's.
The Club will have a Christmas Luncheon at Tiny's on Wednesday, December 20th beginning at noon.
The men's basketball team is at the Dome on Tuesday, January 2nd. The Syracuse ND Club will be hosting a reception which details will be available next month at their website (www.ndclubsyracuse.org). If anyone is interested in group seating, please contact our Club's voice mail (794-9499) immediately. Also, it should be noted that the Lady Irish B-Ball team will be visiting the Orangemen on Valentine's Day, Wednesday, February 14th.
The Club just received word of a 40 game ticket allocation to the West Virginia game at the peak of fall foliage in South Bend during the weekend of October 13th, 2001. The excursion will be by train, bus or van, which will be determined (noting the combination of Amtrak and the KOA seems to be the most popular). Any thoughts on this can be expressed on the Club's voice mail (794-9499).
Our Alumni Club is considering a trip to watch the Notre Dame hockey team at the RPI Holiday Tournament. The tournament will be played on Friday, December 29th and Saturday, December 30th. On Friday, Notre Dame plays St. Lawrence University at 4:30 PM, followed by RPI vs. Northeastern. On Saturday, the winners and losers play each other. We are considering a few different options at this time. One option would be a bus trip for both dates, staying overnight in the Albany area on Friday nite. Another option would be bus/van trips returning each day, or just a trip down for one date (e.g. Saturday). For groups of 15 or more, ticket prices are $8.75 for each date, under age 15 would be $6.75. At this time, we are just trying to determine if there is any interest in this event. Please call the Club's voice mail (794-9499) ASAP to indicate any preliminary intentions about this event.
