Announcement, April-May, 1999

1999 Michigan State Football Game Trip UPDATE (Note Changes)

How?: "Active dues paying members" (whom have already pre-registered) and:
1. Have paid their Club dues of $20 (which can be done at time of the payment of the deposit under #3, infra) and
2. Have purchased a ticket to attend the Hesburgh UND Dinner on May 8th(which can also be done at the time of the payment of the deposit) and
3. Paid a $150 deposit (transferable but nonrefundable). The payment of this deposit is due on or before 5:00 PM on Friday, May 7th with the check payable to the "NDMV Club" and sent c/o PKG&D, 12 Steuben Park, Utica, NY 13501. Full payment of $300 can be made at this time or the balance of $125 on or before August 1st.

P. S. An optional feature to the trip is the Friday Football luncheon which tickets are being offered at the cost of $16. If interested, you need to indicate at the time of deposit. If you have already forwarded a deposit, you need to call the club's voice mail by May 7th.

Letter to Football Trip Registrants

To provide you an update on the Club's Notre Dame - Michigan State Ballgame Excursion, I delineate the following:

1. Enclosed you will find a completely different itinerary using our familiar mode of transportation, luxury motor coach (with refreshments on board) along with staying on Campus an extra night (Thursday, 9/16).
2 The reason is that I had to make an "executive decision" on Friday, April 23rd.
3 My dilemma was that a substantial deposit was due to US Air at that time. However, the Club had only received deposits for the air package from a minority of registrants. That combined with a call to Utica/Rome Bus who advised me that they had their largest passenger bus available (54 seats with VCR monitors) necessitated the change to the trip's format.

For those that paid $250.00 deposit, the Club thanks you as there is only a $25 balance which is not due until August 1st. If you wish a full refund because of the change, you can obtain same by calling the Club's voice mail (794-9499) by May 7th. Also, since the new deposit requirements are only $150.00 you can also have the Club rebate you the $100.00 excess portion of the deposit, if interested.

For those that have not paid any deposit (possibly as a vote against the air concept since it was not known at the time of trip pre-registration), now is the time for the deposit which has been reduced to $150.00 and is due on or before 5:00 PM on Friday, May 7th WITH "TIME BEING OF THE ESSENCE".
