There will be a Big East Game to be held at 7PM this Wednesday March 10th at Tinys for the Irishs first game in the Big East Tournament. If interested in determining whether any subsequent tournament game watch parties will be held (Big East NIT/NCAA) call the Clubs voice mail.

The Irish Lacrosse Team will Invade the Dome

ND-Pittsburgh Football Game

Anyone interested in tickets for the Notre Dame Pittsburch game on November 13th, please advise immediately since the Club has an allocation for same.

ND vs. Navy Meadowlands October 16th

a) Any volunteers in organizing a trip for the Club to the Meadowlands via bus or caravan, please advise the voice mail immediately.

b) If there is insufficient interest in a group excursion, please call the Club voice mail if you want tickets since ND has informed me of an early bird purchase opportunity.

For the ND Golf Addicts

I have been advised of a luxury ND golf outing in Montego Bay on June 17th to the 20th. The trip will include a number of past players such as Derek Brown, Bob Golic, Todd Lyght, Rick Mirer, Rocket Ismail, and Tony Rice. For further information, you may contact Lauren Ranieri at 732-245-7292.

Mark your calendars, the following dates are finalized:

1) The Universal Notre Dame Night Dinner is June 11, 2004 with Professor Tex Dutile, Chairperson of the Faculty Board on Athletics and the Universitys NCAA Faculty Athletic Representative.

2) On Sunday, August 8th the Notre Dame Student Send-Off Picnic will be held at the Verona State Park.

3) The weekly fall luncheon at Tinys will begin on September 4th.

4) Notre Dame/SU football 2005 with a lot of pounding and based on the Alumni Associations impression of our club (e.g. activities, web site), the University recently advised me that we have for the Syracuse at Notre Dame football game in the Fall of 2005 one hundred game tickets along with one hundred beds on campus at the lakeside facility of St Joe Hall.

Continuing Announcement(s) to be repeated in each newsletter

a) As you are probably aware, the Clubs growing scholarship fund is one that currently provides assistance to Mohawk Valley area students at ND. One source of contributions that we have never tapped (but will be repeated in each newsletter as a reminder) is that upon a death, a family in writing the decedents obituary will consider alternatives for the in lieu of flowers provision. Acoordingly, th Club is proposing the idea that consideration be given to the Scholarship Fund of the University of Notre Dame Club of the Mohawk Valley since 100% of the dollars are directed to local beneficiaries without any administrative costs associated with the donation.

b) Dues notice. Never too late for our annual dues notice (the Clubs fiscal year of 9/1-8/30), please remit to help our nominal treasury. Dues checks of $20 should be made payable to NDMV and sent to Kurt Hameline, Treasurer, c/o District Attorneys Office, County Office Building, Park Avenue, Utica, New York, 13501.
