Irish Basketball Watch

The plan for Club gatherings to watch tournament games in March is as follows:

1. Big East games will be watched at Tiny's at the scheduled time.

2. NCAA tournament games will be viewed as follows:
a. If televised locally, Tiny's.
b. If not, the only means is through an establishment having Direct TV (not the Dish network). The only one I know of locally is the Doghouse Tavern located in North Utica at the Shopping Center that has Eckerd's and Big Lots (i.e., not the North Utica Shopping Center, but the smaller one adjacent and to the east of Burger King). If you know of any other place, I am open for suggestions.

Big East Watch Luncheons

The Irish will be playing St. John's at noon on Wednesday, March 12th at which time we will have an extended Luncheon gathering at Tiny�s (featuring their seasonal corn beef & cabbage special). If the Irish are successful, we will definitely have a second luncheon on Thursday, the 13th, for the noon game against Boston College.

You can always call the Club's voice mail (315-794-9499) for confirmation of whether game watches will be taking place for the remaining Big East tournament games (if successful in the earlier rounds) along with the NCAA Tournament games. :The tentative viewing sites for the NCAA games will be at Tiny's (if televised by WTVH) and the Doghouse Tavern in North Utica where the game will be on Direct TV which will have the non-local CBS feed.
