Palm Sunday Communion Breakfast

The Annual Communion Breakfast will be held this Sunday (Palm Sunday) March 28th beginning at 10:30 AM at St. John's the Evangelist Church. Immediately following, everyone (whether you are able to attend this particular mass or not) is invited at 11:45 AM to the Yahnundasis where we will have a brunch. Ticket prices for the brunch are $12.00 for adults and $7.00 for children ages 6 to 12.

PLEASE: WE NEED AN ACCURATE HEAD COUNT BY LEAVING A MESSAGE UPON RECEIPT OF THIS NOTICE (BUT NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24TH NOON) ON THE CLUB'S VOICE MAIL 794-9499 AS TO HOW MANY ADULTS AND CHILDREN WILL BE ATTENDING.

Fall Football Excursion

The University has advised us that we have been allocated 50 tickets for the Michigan State Game (September 18th) from the Club Ticket Allocation Program along with being awarded 25 rooms on Campus. This is a real tribute to President Dan who lobbied for this, filed a voluminous Club report in January with the Alumni Association and is attending next month's ND Senate Meeting on Campus. At this point, details are still being finalized as to transportation and final cost but we are taking pre-registration now. Priority at the time of final registration will be given to parents of students and dues paying members (dues of $20 are still being accepted by our Treasurer Kurt Hameline, c/o District Attorney's Office, Elizabeth Street, Utica, NY 13501). You must first pre-register by calling the Club's voice mail (794-9499) on or before this Friday, March 26th with your request for the number of ticket packages. Trip information will only be sent to those who pre-register by the 26th with no more than four packages being able to be pre-registered per individual. It should be noted that pre-registration is only a preliminary process, not guaranteeing final registration.

Blue & Gold Game Party

Once again, the Club will have a Blue-Gold Game watch party at Tiny's on Saturday, April 24th starting at 2:30 PM. viewing the game by satellite.

Universal Notre Dame Night Dinner

The evolving details of the "Father Hesburgh evening" on May 8th (from my present committee of one) are:
a. 6:00 to 7:30 PM reception (refreshments along with cold and hot hors d'ouevres) to be held outdoors in a large party tent along side the SUNY Tech Campus Center.
b. The "Boonville Symphony Orchestra (BSO)" has been hired to play Irish tunes during the event (along with a bagpiper with over thirty years of experience).
c. Dinner catered by Marriott in the SUNY Tech Campus Center from 7:30 to 8:30 PM.
d. 8:30 PM - Dinner program featuring Father Hesburgh.

Unlike past UND Dinners, there will be numbered tickets that will be available to be sold in advance of the evening. These will be distributed in blocks to interested attendees at the Communion Breakfast. If you would like some and will not be attending the Brunch, please leave a message on the Club's voice mail. Tickets will be $25/person with any excess proceeds benefiting the Club and its Scholarship Fund. Special pricing arrangements are available for children by indicating your interest on the Club's voice mail.
