NDMV 2000 Football Trip

Regarding next month's trip, I delineate the following;

1. Departure will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 31 st from the parking area located at the Westmoreland exit of the NYS Thruway #30 (where you may leave your car for the weekend). The "caravan" will be driving through Canada on the way to the Midwest, staying in Ann Arbor the first night.

2. The accommodations and accompanying phone numbers are as follows:

3. Regarding luggage:

4. An optional feature to the trip is the Friday luncheon in the ACC. The plan is that we will check into our Kabins at the KOA at approximately 10:30 EST on Friday morning (after an approximate 3 hour drive from Ann Arbor departing at 8:30 AM EDT). After check-in, we will leave for Campus. If you are interested in the luncheon, I need a check for $16.00 made payable to 'ND Club of the Mohawk Valley" which must be received at 12 Steuben Park no later than 5:00 PM on Monday, July 24th.

Miscellaneous Items

1. We arrive in Ann Arbor On Thursday night at dinner hour. Since the hotel is three miles from the University of Michigan campus, there will be an opportunity to see their campus before their football weekend (they play Ball State on that Saturday).

2. Dinner reservations for the group have been made at Pat's Pub for Friday evening (9/1) at 8:30 EST.

3. The ND and Buffalo Bill game tickets will be distributed on Friday (9/1) and Sunday (9/3), respectively.

4. Kick-off time is scheduled for noon EST on Saturday for the ND game while the start for the Bills game is 8:15 EDT Sunday.

5. Though reservations are not accepted, the number one steak house in the Michiana area is Eddie's Steak Shack (adjacent to the KOA), which is highly recommended for dinner on Saturday evening.

6. We anticipate leaving for Buffalo on Sunday morning at 8:30 AM EST and arriving at the Buffalo hotel at approximately 3:30 PM EDT. Following check-in, we will proceed to Rich Stadium for a pre-game tailgate party (for which funds will be collected).

7. We will leave for Utica on Labor Day Monday at 9:00 AM EDT arriving home shortly after noon EDT.

PLEASE RETAIN THIS MEMO AS THIS IS THE FINAL TRIP ANNOUNCEMENT
