Dues Notice
When: 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 6th (rain or shine)
Where: Hinckley Lake (lakeside pavilion - reserved)
With: Catering by Piggy Pat�s of Middleville, soda and beer
Cost: $15.00 per person; Age 6 and under free; incoming/returning ND and SMC Students are guests of the Club.
What to Bring:
- 1. A choice of a salad, dessert, or hors d'oeuvre,
- 2. A folding lawnchair,
- 3. Swimwear, and
- 4. Lawn games (horseshoes, bocce, etc.).
This is a Club wide event so everyone is invited. The only request (because we have to provide a guarantee to the caterer) is that you please respond upon receipt of this notice but no later than next Friday July 28th. To make reservations, call the Club's voice mail at 794-9499 with the number attending along with indicating the choice of a favorite hors d'oeuvre, salad or dessert that you will be bringing.
Mark your calendars now for each and every Wednesday noon beginning August 30th at which we will have our popular Fall luncheons featuring a video of the coach's press conference. As we have done successfully in the past, we will also be sharing a "have/needs" board for game tickets and hotel rooms for football weekends in South Bend.
The Club's excursion to South Bend for the Texas A&M game is fast approaching. By now all participants have the necessary information (traveling thru Canada on 8/31 with a stayover in Ann Arbor to see the University of Michigan campus and on the return trip staying overnight in Buffalo in order to attend the Buffalo Bills Tennessee Titans game Sunday evening 9/3). Any questions, call the Club's voice mail at 7949499.
Jim Bonaventura of the Notre Dame Club of Central New York in Syracuse has advised me that there are seats remaining for his Club's trip to the ND-Nebraska game on September 9th. If you are interested, additional details can be obtained by contacting Jim directly ASAP at 652-8713.
The ND Hockey Team will be playing in the RPI Christmas Tournament during the week between Xmas and New Year's If there is interest, the Club may arrange group transportation.
At the UND Dinner in May, "Monsignor" Bill Crofton was awarded the Award of the Year. Congratulations to Bill whose unlimited energies have been so helpful to our Club.
