Announcement, February 2000

Announcements

• 1. Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 1st, there will be a game watch party at Tiny�s for the ND-Syracuse B-Ball game beginning at 9PM. Pregame festivities will commence at 8:30PM.

• 2. Enclosed is a tentative calendar of events for 2000, noting that:
  • a) The Club will also meet at Tiny�s over the next two weeks for any Big East and other post season tournaments.

  • b) Palm Sunday is the date for the annual Communion Breakfast.

• 3. Our nominal club treasury would greatly appreciate the receipt of the $20 dues for the 99-00 Fiscal Year, (if not otherwise forwarded to Kurt Hameline c/o DA�s Office, Oneida County Office Building, Utica, Y 13501).

• 4. Don�t forget to check our Club�s web site (ndmv.org).

• 5. Lastly, we�re looking for a �trip coordinator� for our Club excursion to the Texas A&M game over Labor Day weekend.

NDMV 2000 Tentative Calendar

• March 1, 2000- Syracuse at Notre Dame Basketball Game Watch at Tiny�s (9PM)

• �March Madness� (TBD)- Big East Tournament (tentative first game, Wednesday, March 8th at 9:30PM???) and NIT/NCAA game watches at Tiny�s

• April 16, 2000 (Palm Sunday)- Communion Breakfast- 10:30 Mass at St. John the Evangelist followed by brunch at the Yahnundasis

• April 29, 2000- Blue/Gold Game Watch at Tiny�s (if shown live by WHME of South Bend, otherwise by tape on Saturday May 6, 2000)

• TBA- UND Dinner

• June 21, 2000- Leahy Lads Scholarship Golf Tournament and Dinner in Binghamton, featuring a tentative celebrity guest list of over 40 individuals including ND Heisman Trophy winners, and a legion of past players along with Yogi Berra and others. If enough interest, the Club will organize a van/bus for the outing.

• August 6, 2000- Student Send-Off Picnic

• August 30, 2000- First of eleven weekly luncheons at Tiny�s (Wednesdays at noon)

• September 1, 2000 (Labor Day Weekend)- Club Football Excursion to the Texas A&M Game

• November 25, 2000- USC Game Watch Party at Tiny�s (8PM)
