Blue & Gold Game Watch Party - DATE CHANGE

Once again, the Club will have a Blue-Gold Game watch party at Tiny's Saturday, May 1st starting at 1:30 PM viewing the game by satellite on a tape delay and edited (2 hours) basis (with the game being played the week before).

Universal Notre Dame Night Dinner

The final details of the "Father Hesburgh evening" on May 8th are

a. 5: 00 PM - Mass being celebrated by Father Ted at the SUNY Tech Gymnasium
b. 6:00 to 7:30 PM reception (refreshments along with cold and hot hors d'oeuvres) to be held outdoors in a huge party tent along side the SUNY Tech Campus Center
c. The "Boonville Symphony Orchestra (BSO)" will play Irish tunes during the event (along with a bagpiper with over thirty years of experience).
d. "Sitdown" dinner catered by Marriott in the SUNY Tech Campus Center from 7:30 to 8:30 PM.
e. 8:30 PM - Dinner program featuring Father Hesburgh

Tickets are $25/person with any excess proceeds benef itting the Club and its Scholarship Fund. Special pricing arrangements are available for children by indicating your interest on the Club's voice mail.

The following are three ways to obtain tickets prior to April 30th:

1. Order tix using the Club's voice mail 794-9499.
2. Contact Tony Martino 733-3344 (work) 732-7881 (home).
3. Tickets are on sale at any branch of the Homestead Bank

For those interested Father Ted will be giving the graduation commencement address and receiving his 140th honorary degree earlier in the day (10:00 a.m.) at the Utica Aud.

TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD IN MAY (ADVANCE PURCHASE ONLY FOR THIS EVENT). PLEASE DO NOT DELAY THE TICKET PURCHASE - WE NEED YOUR HELP IN COMMITTING TO THIS EVENT UPON RECEIPT OF THIS NOTICE.

Fall Football Excursion

The Club's Fall Football excursion To the Michigan State game has been sold out during the preregistration period. However, names are still being accepted for the wait list on a "first come, first served basis" by calling the Club's voice mail. 794-9499

Friendship Society Picnic

The Notre Dame Club of the Friendship Society will be holding its annual picnic in Elmira on Saturday, June 19th. If you have not been to one of these, it is quite an experience. For those interested in details or the possibility of transportation, please call the Club's voice mail since there may not be another newsletter prior to this event.

Alumni Ticket Applications

In the very near future, alums will be receiving their game applications. If you are not using same, you can forward the application to NDMV Club c/o 12 Steuben Park, Utica, New York 13501.
