This is the official web site of Northern Division Freestyle (NDF), a division of the US Ski and Snowboard Association. Whether you are interested in just a few fun competitions or a serious effort to make the US Freestyle Team this is the place to begin if you live in the Northern Division. The Northern Division consists of all of Montana, the northern portion of Wyoming and North and South Dakota. Strong well-organized and coached programs currently exist at Bridger Bowl outside of Bozeman, Snowbowl outside Missoula, The Big Mountain in the Flathead Valley and at Lost Trail in the Bitterroot Valley. Northern Division offers USSA sanctioned competitions in Moguls, Dual Moguls, Upright Aerials, Inverted Aerials, and Terrain Park Aerials. The Mission of NDF is "To provide fun and exciting freestyle opportunities to as many people as possible while providing and encouraging a clearly defined pathway to higher levels of competitions."
The NDF Newsletter is published 3 times a year and is posted on this site under "Newsletter"
RESULTS
Results from this years events will be posted by the Monday following competition under "Results" Currently last years Divisional Points list is posted. The NDF committee recently met and a decision was made at that meeting to discontinue the use of that points system and to instead use exclusively the National Points List for all selections. That points list can be viewed through the links to the USSA web site listed under "Rankings".
REGISTRATION
Internet registration is available through a fully secured web site called Active linked through "Registration"
Registration is also available on the Official registration forms attached to the news letter mailed to all active USSA members of Northern Division. These forms are also downloadable on the "Registration" page.
