Kevin Paiva Introduction
2003 was a spectacular year for NCW. Though we stumbled upon some ups and downs, we still managed to survive our first full year. NCW has stirred many emotions all year long. Some have been comedic, such as some of the promos of our talented roster here like Matt Xtreme and Jason Knoxville. We've also stirred happy emotions with moments like the Matt Xtreme and Rose wedding. We stirred suspense, sadness, and more throughout our run. We gave it all this past year, and there is more to come in 2004. I would like to thank everyone that has contributed in some way, shape or form to NCW. All the Officials who help me on a daily basis like Michelle Leveretti for taking time to manage the newsletter, Mark Welch and Jeremy Evans for helping make storylines as exciting as they are, and the rest of you that give your time to help a brutha out. Then there is also the "meat" of NCW. The Netstars. These guys take time from thier lives to help entertain you all on the forums and enjoy themselves as well. Matt Xtreme, Jason Knoxville, Jesse Russell, Sean Cena and the rest of you who have helped drag this company along. Thanks to all of you for caring. Here's a toast to 2004, and hoping that it'll surpass the greatness that was 2003.
Netstar of the Year - Matt Xtreme
The winner of this award was one that was highly expected. Matt Xtreme has been apart of this company since its birth, and has never stopped entertaining his fans in anyway he can. With his comdeic and sometimes emotional promos, and riveting matchups, Matt Xtreme never seizes to amaze. With 2004 now upon us, it
doesn't look like he'll be slowing down one bit.
Matt Xtreme's Comments:

Diva of the Year - Rose
Its no surprise that the first ever NCW Women's Champion as taken home this award. Rose is one of the most beautiful and talented women in the world and this award further backs that up.
Rose's Comments:
Thank you very much. I'm actually really surprised. At the beginning of the year I was a fighting girl but lately I've done nothing so I'm really shocked that everyone voted for me. Thank you all, it means a lot to know that I'm still cared about lol. Looks like I'm still top Diva! WOO-HOO! Thanks again!
1st Runner Up: Angela Cage
2nd Runner Up: Juliet Drahma

Match of the Year - Sean Cena Vs. Matt Xtreme (Starrcade)
A very unexpected win. Many were expecting a more high calibur match to win, but it seems the fans have voted Cena and Xtreme's Last Man Standing encounter as their match of the year. Both men gave it their all in this match and though Cena was the victor, Xtreme was also a winner in people's eyes. Congratulations guys!
Matt Xtreme's Comments:
I had lots of great matches this year and Starrcade was one of my style matches. Me and Cena gave it all and we tried to please the fans and tried to make are match intense and crazy and thanks for the Fans for voting for this match and again there was alot of great matches this past year, and it could've been anyones match here being honoured. I'm honoured and speechless. Thanks to Cena for giving it all and for the fans that enjoyed it.
Sean Cena's Comments:
Now this is some crazy sh*t. This match was crazy but I never thought it would be match of the year, there was way more matches out there that could've beaten us. But hey! We won! Me and Matt pulled off some sick tricks in that match and I'm glad I was in it. It was one of the high points of me here in NCW and its all good homies! When me and Matt are in the ring together, you know it gon' be crazy! Thanks to all!
1st Runner Up: Kevin Paiva Vs. Matt Xtreme (TitanMania)
2nd Runner Up: Jason Knoxville Vs. Bruno Sage (Tear Away)

Net-Pay-Per-View of the Year - SuperNet
Once a year, NCW pulls off its most celebrated and huge NPPV of the year, SuperNet. SuperNet was a huge success this past year as it grabbed a new record for page visitis in NCW. With that much response for SuperNet, it'll be interesting to see if SuperNet II will break new mold this year.

Rookie of the Year - Jason Knoxville
There were so many rookies that debuted in NCW that choosing one be difficult. That was not the case. In one of the closest battles in the awards, Jason Knoxville was able to beat out Zach Stiller with 2 votes to grab this award. Knoxville made an impactful debut in NCW, taking part in a classic feud with Bruno Sage for 3 months and then even going on to recently battle Kevin Paiva in a Hell in a Cell. The future looks bright for this one.
Jason Knoxville's Comments:
Wow..i thought Zack Stiller would win this. I guess I did. Thanks a lot for voting for the Knox. I know theres a little Knox in all of you. Great to be the rookie of the year and beating Zack Stiller. Thanks fans.
1st Runner Up: Zach Stiller
2nd Runner Up: Nathan Dupre

Most Popular Netstar of the Year - Matt Xtreme
Throughout the year, there was only one man who was one of the main focuses of 2003. Matt Xtreme. Xtreme began the year with his first NCW Championship victory at the SurvivorSlam, he then went on to main event SuperNet, he participated in many first ever matches, such as the Tower of Hell, Steel Inferno and more. Then there was his marriage to NCW Diva Rose. Xtreme was all over 2003, and this award is proof of that.
Matt Xtreme's Comments:
this one is a honour there is a lots of guys that should of been here besides me Razor, Stiller, Crush, Paiva, Knoxville, Russell , Cena and many more but ist a pleasure to know that the fans here enjoy having the X in thier lives this woudn't be possible if it wasnt for the all crew in NCW and for Paiva for taking me in and creating Matt Xtreme was the best thing in my life and I'm loving it and its a honour and a privledge winning this award and i'm enjoying working with the boys and Girls in NCW I would like to thank thank Rose, Russell, Razor, Cena, Paiva, Crush and Many More for making Xtreme what he is today Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
1st Runner Up: Jesse Russell
2nd Runner Up: Kevin Paiva

Most Hated Netstar of the Year - Nathan Dupre
No other award has garnered up such a land slide as this one. Nathan Dupre took up approximately 90% of the votes on this award. For good reason as well. Since his debut, Dupre has irritated fans with his bashings on America and its citizens, and to further annoy people, he is undefeated. So he has a right to brag. During his Fan Q&A at the forums, Dupre recieved a truck load of hate mail. Should he be honoured for this award?
Nathan Dupre's Comments:
I never knew I angered so many people. But I don't care. I am Nathan Dupre, the greatest athlete in this company and this award doesn't bug me. I will continue my assault on america and others that stand in my way. This award prooves to me that I'm doing something right, and thats what I've wanted to do: piss you all off. So thanks for the award I guess, looking forward to winning it again next year.
1st Runner Up: Andrew Ferreria
2nd Runner Up: None

Best Tag Team of the Year - Thug Livin'

Thug Livin' is a veteran tag team that split up in June after Tyrese left to pursue other thing. But they still managed to win which shows they have a hardcore fanbase. Teams like Cn'N or even the X-Unit were unable to take the crown. Congratulations Thug Livin!
Jamal's Comments:
I guess I'm talking for the both of us. Thug Livin was some good sh*t. It was a fun run and Tyrese and me ripped it up when we were together. I'm happy to know ya'll didn't forget us, it shows we set an impact for all of you. But I swear to you all, that Thug Livin' will never die. I swear we gonna come back and raise hell again. Thank you.
1st Runner Up: Team Xtreme
2nd Runner Up: The Camaras

Feud of the Year - Jesse Russell Vs. Matt Xtreme

This feud took place through most of 2003. It began in March and continued over to April. It recontinued in August and then took a shocking turn when they became a tag team in September. They then went at it again in December. Jesse Russell and Matt Xtreme have quickly become one of the most popular rivals in NCW history, and it doesn't seem that this rivalry will go away anytime soon.
Matt Xtreme's Comments:
This was a very intense Fued  Jesse is my arch rival   we started off has good friends and then I turned on him and formed DX  and then are classic battle at Supernet 1 was off the hook and he took that one I was very happy for him and then after at Aderline i  evened up the score   then it wasnt over after i won the Internetal championship he took taht from me another great classic match. tehn when i decided to make Jesse the best man and i had no idea he was going to turn on me and he ended are freindship for the 2nd time and Fianlly i returned and beat him at  Vendetta a hell of a match risking are lives and the score was tied 2-2. and then we made a hell of a tag team the X -unit  it was good times and fun times. and we were a great team but injuries cost us are reign as champs and then it was time to go seperate ways other oppertunities. and Finally we met agian  at  Mayhem for the ultimate prize and i pinned Cena but   you havent seen the last of the Xtreme- Russell Story thanks for voting and to the fans for enjoying that feued as much has us.

Winning this award with The Brutal is cool because we kicked eachothers asses all year long and I can't wait to do it again.
1st Runner Up: Sean Cena Vs. Razor
2nd Runner Up: Bruno Sage Vs. Jason Knoxville

Sexiest Netstar of the Year - Matt Xtreme
Matt Xtreme has yet again won another award. Xtreme was once victorious in an NCW Poll as the sexiest Netstar, but that was stolen from him by Razor. He has yet again won that award but not without a close call. Xtreme beat out Johnny Styles by 4 votes to grab this one. Good job Xtreme. The ladies love you.
Matt Xtreme's Comments:

There are many sexy Divas on the roster but only one could win this award. That woman is Angela Cage. Angela Cage has not been on NCW events since August but she's still on the minds of her fans. Way to go Angela! Hope to you back soon.
Angela Cage's Comments:

1st Runner Up: Rose
2nd Runner Up: Alexa Ribeiro

Promo of the Year - Matt Xtreme (SuperNet Promo)
It is without a doubt one of the funniest promos ever. Matt Xtreme's promo with Jerry Price and Disturbed lead singer, Dave Draiman was memorable in many ways. Xtreme was either making fun of Price by comparing him to a red knight he slapped up at Medieval Times, or Draiman by making fun of his songs. It was a memorable time and deserving of this award.
Matt Xtreme's Comments:
that was one of the classic moments in NCW history and it's a unforgettable time it was very funny and Original and it was great it took place in my hometown and who whould ever thought that i would diss up a great singer  Draimen. that was classic i got to admit he got me good with the comeback. That was a Priceless Moment and  its a pleasure that I entertian the Millions and Millions of fans all over thank you very much.
1st Runner Up: Jason Knoxville (Wreckage - French Poodle)
2nd Runner Up: Splitterz (HyBrid Friday - Return Promo)

Heavyweight Champion of the Year
Many men have worn this title around their waist, but as much as this man. Matt Xtreme has definitely deserved this award. He began 2003 by winning the championship for the first and then ended the year by winning it for a 4th time. How long will he hold this title? Only time will tell.
Matt Xtreme's Comments:
It was a hell of a time being Champion the first time is always the best time and it was the most emtional point in my carrer and then it brought out the side everybody knows now the X-life and the best title matches I had was Supernet but I lost that one but still a sik match and TitanMania against Paiva was a unbelivable match. Also Great Matches on Force and Wreckage defending the title  Santos  defeated me  and props to that but I got it back in a hard faught battle. winning it again in December in a Hell of a match the fatal 4 way match against 3 well trianed atheltes was a great feeling It still meant the X -life is still alive and it's back and I'm planning to keep this belt for a Long time because when I retire I want to go down as the greatest Champion off alltime Thank you very much for this award without the Fans and NCW there isnt no X-life so Thank u very much.
1st Runner Up: Razor
2nd Runner Up: Jesse Russell

The World Championship is the second most prestigious title behind the Heavyweight Championship. It disapearred after being unified with the Heabyweight title in March but it has made its return in October. Jesse Russell has be chosen as the greatest wearer of that title and for good cause. He was one of the only holders before ts unfication and he held it for a record 3 months.
Jesse Russell's Comments:
Pretty cool winning this award but the thing is although I love this belt I want the main strap.
1st Runner Up: Dave Vertolli
2nd Runner Up: Nathan Marshall

Internetal Champion of the Year - Razor
Razor has won the Internetal Championship 3 times which explains his win of this award. Razor has always been a dominant force ever since he stepped in the ring for the first time in November 2002. His first title was the Internetal championship, which he won from now deceased Crimson Ray.
Razor's Comments:
Good stuff. I'm happy I won this award since the internetal championship made me who I am. It helped me reach the NCW title in a matter of months so props to that title. Thanks to the fans for voting for me.
1st Runner Up: Santos Guerrero
2nd Runner Up: Poppa Crush

Hardcore Champion of the Year - Jason Knoxville

The Hardcore division has had it share of competitors since way back when. But none expected Jason Knoxville to take this award home. The rookie Netstar became Hardcore champion in his second month in the company and held it for 4 months. This is proof enough to fans that he is the deserving of this award.
Jason Knoxville's Comments:
it feels good to be winning this second award. Who would have thought I would become hardcore champ of the year. Well since I am the creator of the hardcore factory I pretty much deserve it.
1st Runner Up: Bruno Sage
2nd Runner Up: Sean Cena

Women's Champion of the Year - Juliet Drahma
It was without surprise. After keeping the womens title for a record 5 months, who else could be a worthy candidate? Juliet Drahma was a fighting champion throughout her reign as champion and fans have taken that into consideration. Congratulations Juliet.

Tag Team Champions of the Year - Team Xtreme

Team Xtreme were the breakout tag team of 2003. No other team came close to ganining so much popular in such little time. They debuted in NCW after they failed in thier singles careers a few months earlier. They breakdanced and fought their way into fans eyes. Team Xtreme has not been seen for sometime but you can expect them to return stronger than ever.
Sky Rocker's Comments:
Wow. Never expected to win this one but its great that I did. Me and Dj put on a hell of a battle to make you guys love us, and it worked. Team Xtreme is not dead, we're just taking a vacation! We'll be back soon and ready to kick some ass all over again.

CruiserNet Champion of the Year - Krazist

Only one man has held this title for most of the year, Krazist. Krazist won the CruiserNet championship only a month after his debut and he's held onto it since. Can any other cruiserweight defeat him? Byt the looks of things, it will be a while before we see that.
Krazist's Comments:
YEAH! I'm so damn good. Thanks to everyone who voted for me. Its great winning this award even though I knew I would (not to sound cocky). Its been a great ride and I plan on keeping this title for a few more months. Thanks.
1st Runner Up: Gino Civix
2nd Runner Up: Turismo

Roleplayer of the Year - Tie: Jesse Russell & Jason Knoxville
On the forums, roleplaying is key for fans to connect with a certain netstar and feel what he is feeling. It serves as a way for a Netstar to let out his emotions and to let the fans interest in them and their situation, grow. Jesse Russell and Jason Knoxville have both won this award in the only tie. Both men have shown they deserved it through their many posts throughout the forums.
Jesse Russell's Comments:
Kinda of odd winning this award considering some didn't feel I roleplayed enough, but nonetheless winning it is pretty cool.
Jason Knoxville's Comments:
I knew this would come to me. I have been role-playing as much I can to get myself loved by the fans and get my matches hyped up. I made an impact when I came in and im still working hard. I dont say the same stuff. I change it up. Me and Jesse do deserve this but the Russ Report does suck.
1st Runner Up: Matt Xtreme
2nd Runner Up: Bruno Sage
