From the dual minds of both Kevin Paiva and Andrew Ferreira, NCW was born. NCW stands for Net Championship Wrestling. It was created in the midst of September 2002. Both owners had created a website for the efed to be based upon. However, they had kept this website private, and only allowed people that they knew to visit their website. NCW was run privately as the owners did not want to bring it out upon the internet public in fear of ridicule and shrugs from visitors as being just a "regular boring efed". NCW prospored into a great efed. It had many people on its roster. NCW refers to its roster as "Netstars". This is deemed more appropriate than "Superstars" since the fed is based on the internet. The Netstars and the Owners themselves enjoyed NCW, and used it as a way to escape reality and become more involved in the world of wrestling.

NCW did not remain prosporous for long, however. Soon enough, Kevin Paiva could no longer look after the company and had to leave it in the hands of Andrew Ferreira. Ferreira kept the efed afloat as long he could. But soon, not even he could keep it alive. Ferreira had business elsewhere and could no longer tend to NCW. NCW had officially died near the end of September.

1 month later, as November came around; both Paiva and Ferreira decided to revive their fallen company and bring it back to glory. They used their old website once again as the basis for the efed. Paiva and Ferreira began gathering up Netstars once again to join. They were able to garner up some that were involved with the company before, and also some new faces. The site was complete and NCW was ready to roll again. This time though, Paiva and Ferreira decided they wanted to take a chance and advertise NCW across the web. Through search engines, and gossip among individuals involved with NCW. Soon enough, NCW began gathering visitors after advertising on different websites and having their Netstars tell each other's friends, and so on. NCW was becoming popular among some visitors and they continued to visit the website after their first glimpse.

NCW ran two shows a week, Force on mondays, and Wreckage on thursdays. Both shows were viewed by many every night. It was all going well for NCW, so far. In December, the website began having problems and the owners could no longer keep it running on thier current website. NCW created a new website, the one which you are viewing to this day. It has remained stable at some times, and others not so. But it has not been troublesome to the point where a third site has been needed. During this time, NCW also lost something other than its old website. They lost a friend. "Crimson" Ray Stiller passed on due to cancer at the age of 15. It was a sad day for NCW, as some of the Netstars knew him in person, and others talked to him online and got to know him greatly. A hard blow for all of us.

To this day, NCW has become one of the most popular efeds on the internet. NCW has taken strides to become a serious competitor on the net by becoming more professional. Due to Paiva's connections with some webmasters of some popular internet websites, NCW is able to garner up Net-Pay-Per-View sponsors. Sponsors ranging from video game companies to music and record labels, and even market chains across North America, have all contributed to helping NCW. NCW has also made some popular names during its existence. Names such as Matt Xtreme, Poppa Crush, Razor, and more, are some of NCW's most popular "franchises".

Nothing will stop NCW from growing as the days go by. Our roster continues to grow as does our fan base. Nothing will change that as long as NCW continues to deliver what it does best: e-wrestling. And that is something NCW will never fail at.

After almost 3 years of entertaining its fans, NCW has finally closed its doors in June 2005, this time for good. Leaving a legacy of entertainment and a strong bond between everyone involved that will never be forgotten.
