Jerry and I have been working together in the Community Leader Program here in SouthBeach since he was still in training to become a leader here back in late May of 1998. | |
We started talking on ICQ and became friends right away through our chats about what kinds of things community leaders encounter each day and how we can work together to make things better. | |
I've been the Liaison of SouthBeach for several months before we had met, and I've always tryed to know each of our leaders as their joining our teams when possible, but felt a special bond here. | |
We spent many nights talking until the sun had risen and although we were both here in NC at that time, we were in different parts of the state and hoped one day it would be nice to meet in person. | |
