Bessie Coleman
Getting her "wings" in 1918, she became the first African American female pilot.
Joseph and Jacques Montgolfier Invented the hot air balloon June of 1783.
Blanche Stuart Scott, first U. S. woman to solo in aplane became known as the first woman stunt flier, officially in 1912.
Jean Pierre Fran�ois Blanchard
was best known for his many pioneering balloon flights in and around 1793.
Beryl Markham, a pioneer aviator. She was the first person to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean from London to North America in 1936.
