Warranty Deed John Chatopka & wife to Mathias Blezk} Filed for Record the 28th day of Jany A. A. 1874 at 11 1/2 o'clock A. M. J. R. Griffin recorder by ________ Deputy

Know all men by these presents, That John Chatopka of the County of Jones and State of Iowa in consideration of the sum of Fourteen hundred in hand paid by Mathias Blezk of Jackson County, and State of Iowa do hereby sell and convey unto the said Mathias Blezk the following described premises, situate in Jackson County, Iowa:  The fractional South West Quarter (1/4) of the North West Quarter and the North East fractional Quarter (1/4) of the South West Quarter (1/4) and the fifty (50) acres of the South Half (1/2) of the South West Quarter (1/4) all in Section Seven (7) also commencing at the South West corner of Section Two thence North forty five degrees (45°) East to the North East corner of the South west of the South West of said Section Two. Thence South Eighty (80) Rods thence West Eighty (80),, to the place of beginning containing one hundred thirty acres & 3/4 acres more or less all in Township Eighty four North Range one East of the fifth Principal Meridian.  This deed is executed for the purpose of correcting the description in a deed executed by said Chatopka to said  Blezek Dated March 1862 which said deed has been found incorrect.

To have and to hold the premises above described, with all the appurtenances, unto the said Mathias Blezk and his heirs and assigns forever.  And I do herby covenant with the said Mathias Blezk that I am lawful seized of said premises; that they are free from incumbrance; that I have good right and lawful authority to sell and convey the same; and I do hereby covenant to warrant and defend the title to said Real Estate and appurtenances thereto belonging, against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.  And Catharine Chatopka wife of said John Chatopka hereby relinquishes all her right of dower, and all her right under the Homestead Laws of the Sate of Iowa, in and to the above described premises.

State of Iowa, Jackson County Be it remembered, that on the 10th day of March A. D. 1873, before the undersigned, a Notary Public in and for said County, personally appeared John Chatopka & Catharine Chatopka his wife to me personally known to be the identical persons whose names are affixed to the foregoing deed as grantors and acknowledged the instrument to be their voluntary act and deed.  Witness my hand and Notorial Seal the day and year above written.  Berry O White, Notary Public Jones.
