Deed from Francis Sokoll to John Chaloubka

Know all men by these presents, That Francis Sokoll and Josfa Sokoll his wife of Jackson County, State of Iowa, In consideration of the sum of Two hundred Eighty dollars in hand paid by John Chaloubka of Jackson County, State of Iowa, do here by sell and convey unto the said John Chaloubka the following premises, to wit: fifteen acres on the North side of the South West fourth, and fifteen acres on the North side of the South East fourth of the South West fourth all in Section Seven (7) and also thirty acres on the East side of the North East fourth South West quarter of Section Seven (7) all in Township Eighty four (84) North of Range One (1) East of fifth principal meridian containing sixty acres more or less and we do hereby covenant with the said John Chaloubka that we are lawfully seized of said premises, that they are free from in cumbrance, that we have good right and lawful authority to sell and convey the same, and we do hereby covenant to warrant and defend the said premises against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.  And the said Josfa hereby relinquishes her right of dower to the premises herein before conveyed.  Signed this 31st day of January A. D. Eighteen hundred and fifty six. In presence of} Francis Sokoll Josfa [her mark] Sokoll

State of Iowa Jackson County} On this 31 day of January A. D. 1856 before me Joseph Rosenbarger Justice of the peace in and for said County personally came Francis Sokoll & Josfa his wife to me known to be the identical persons whose names are affixed to the above deed as grantors, and acknowledged the same to be their volantary act and deed.

Deed from Shada Saboketsky to John Chaboubaka

Know all men by these presents, That Shada Saboketsky & Franciska Saboketsky his wife of Jackson County, State of Iowa in consideration of the sum of One hundred twenty dollars in hand paid by John Chaboubaka of Jackson County, State of Iowa, do hereby sell and convey unto the said John Chaboubaka, the following premises to wit: Commencing at the South West corner of the South West quarter of South West quarter of Section two (2) in Township Eighty four (84) North of Range One (1) East of fifth principal Meridian, thence running angling to the North East corner of the before mentioned tract of land containing twenty acres more or less according to the original Survey.  And we the above named parties bind ourselves by these to give either of said parties full privilege to pass through or over said land at any time whenever either of said parties may see proper with or teams.

And we do hereby covenant with the said John Chaloubaka, that we are lawfully seized of said premises, that they are free from in cumbrance that we have good right and lawful authority to sell and convey the same; and we do hereby covenant to warrant and defend the said premises against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.  And the said Franciska Soboketsky hereby relinquishes her right of dower to the persons herein before conveyed.  Signed this 5th day of February A. D. Eighteen hundred and fifty six.  In presence of Wm Myers J. A. Rosenbarger} Shada Saboketsky Franciska Saboketsky
