AIMS & oBJECTIVES

  • To increase the interaction and co-ordination among the various experts working in the field of isotope hydrology in the country.


  • To link isotope hydrology programmes with on going international and national programmes in the country.


  • To popularise the use of isotope techniques in the country by carrying out collaborative projects with the Central / State Water Departments (end users) as well as to provide them the necessary training on the use of isotope techniques.


  • To introduce isotope hydrology at Graduate level & Post-graduation level in Engineering colleges and Universities as an elective course.


  • To help in strengthening / establishing isotope hydrology laboratories in the country.
