Mission: Controlled burn

To assist in training, the local firefighters occasionally burn a house or two.  They burn a little and practice putting it out again and again.

Our mission was to control fire team rotation in and out of the burning building, and to call for EMS if needed.

Date: 03/15/04

Location: Maxton Pond

Mission: Weapon search

After beating several people to death with a tire iron, he threw it into the pond.  Fortunately, the brought a girl along for the killings.  She had witnessed him throw the weapon into the water and later notified authorities.

Our mission:  Coordinate communications for the SBI, Maxton police and Hope Mills dive team,  and assist when needed.
