| "Aimee, it's not what you think! Please listen to me," Brian shouted, running over to her. Aimee looked at Brian with tears filling up her emerald green eyes. His hand was on her shoulder, and she backed away from him. "I can't believe that you would do this to me, Brian," Aimee said with a choked up voice. "Let me explain, please," Brian said with a pleading voice. "No! No! Get away from me," Aimee yelled, then rushed out of the room. Aimee shot up in her bed and looked around her room. She was breathing heavily, and she wiped her forehead off. She couldn't believe that she was still having dreams of the day when her and Brian broke up. It was about 1 year ago. She saw Brian kissing another girl. He said that it wasn't what she thought, but she never gave him the chance to explain himself. She got out of her bed and went to her bathroom. She washed her face off and looked in the mirror. She thought she had such a dull face. Her green eyes and wavy dark brown hair. She had a small line of freckles that went across her nose. She heard the door open to her apartment. She stepped out of the bathroom and looked into the living room. She saw her best friend, Christa, standing in the living room. "Hey Chris," Aimee said, walking into the room. "Hey. I thought I would stop by and see what you were up to today," Christa told her. "I am not doing anything," Aimee told her. "Cool. Want to go to the beach? There are probably some hot guys down there. What do you say," Christa asked her. "Yeah, that would be cool. Let me get ready. I will be out in a little bit," Aimee told her. "Okay. I will come back in 2 hours or something. See you then," Christa said, then walked out of Aimee's apartment. Aimee shut the door behind her, then went into her room to get ready. ******************************************************************************************** "Can you believe that we are finally going to get a day off," Nick asked Brian. "I know. I needed a day off, man. I'm so beat," Brian said back to Nick. "You can say that again. I think a day at the beach just lounging is going to do us some good," Nick said, picking up the controllers for the Playstation. "Yeah, it will," Brian said, leaning back into the couch. "Well, it's going to take another 30 minutes till we get there, so you want to play some Playstation," Nick asked him. "Do we have to? We just played like 45 minutes ago," Brian whined. "We have to! Come on B-rok," Nick screeched. "Fine. Give me that controller. I'm going to kick your butt, though," Brian said with a giggle. "Bring it on," Nick said, then turned on the machine. ******************************************************************************************** "This is really relaxing. But I haven't spotted any cute guys," Aimee told Christa. "Yeah, I know. There should be some soon. It is early for those cuties to be out," Christa said with a laugh. Both of the girls leaned back into their chairs and sighed. Just then, they heard brakes squeaking. They both looked up and saw a huge bus parking in the parking lot right by their car. The doors opened, and 5 guys stepped out. 2 of them had girls right behind them and three of them didn't. "Hey, those look like some cuties. Let's go take a closer look," Christa said with excitement in her voice. "No! We can't just go and spy on them," Aimee said to her. "Yes we can! Now come on," Christa said, pulling Aimee by the arm. Both of them walked towards the guys. They saw them putting their chairs down and sitting on them. They were all pretty cute. One had long black hair, another had short brown hair, 2 of them had short blond hair, and the last had a shaved head. They both saw the two blondes take off their sunglasses and look their way. The girls screeched and ran back to their towels. "Do you think they brought a big enough bus? I bet they are rich or something! Maybe they are celebrities," Christa told Aimee. "Maybe. Who knows," Aimee said, leaning back into her chair. ******************************************************************************************** "Why were those girls staring at us," Brian asked. "I don't know, dude. Just forget about it," Kevin told him. "I say we go look," Nick said to him. "Okay, I guess," Brian said. They both walked over to where the girls were and looked at them. The two girls looked up with a surprised look. One had more of a surprised look than the other. "Wow. They are cute," Nick whispered into Brian's ear. Brian shrugged and looked at the girl with the blond hair stand up. "Hey. I guess you saw us looking at you. Sorry about that," the girl said to them. "It's okay. We just wanted to know why you girls were staring at us. There isn't much to stare at," Brian told the girl. "Oh. Okay," the girl said, then nudged her friend. The girl with the wavy brown hair looked up, and Brian's heart stopped. She looked exactly like Aimee, the girl that he used to go out with. "What's your name," Brian blurted out. "Aimee," she said quietly. Brian felt a rush go through his body. He just kept staring at Aimee. He knew that it was her. She looked up at him with a confused look in her eyes. He remembered the last time he looked into her eyes. She was crying and upset. He rubbed his eyes and looked at her again. She stood up slowly and looked at him, as well. "Brian," she asked hesitantly. He nodded, and she put her hand over her mouth and turned away. Both Nick and Christa looked at both of them with confused looks. They didn't know what was going on. |
