Biography

Michael Dodson, a.k.a. “Dodson” was perhaps the most dominating North Branford Little League Pitcher in the history of North Branford Little League. When Dodson was 11 years old, he led his team to an unprecedented undefeated season, a feat still never accomplished in the minor leagues. Dodson ran away with league lead in wins, complete games, and strikeouts. After age 11, Dodson accomplished everything he wanted to with hardball, and he began to decline. Dodson played baseball until age 16, he was a very solid player up until his retirement, but never the dominant 11 year old he once was.

Since hardball, Dodson has enjoyed fantasy sports. When “the posse” was introduced to fantasy sports, Dodson announced his fantasy presence with authority. He dominated the first year of fantasy baseball, and then went on to dominate the first year of fantasy basketball. Once the second year of fantasy sports began, Dodson added another baseball championship. At that point, Dodson already had 3 championships, while most managers were (and still are) fighting for their first championship. Dodson was on top of the fantasy world, so he retired in 2001. He accomplished everything he could, and he wanted to give some of the other managers a chance at success. Retirement lasted for about one year, and Dodson came back to fantasy sports, Dodson’s reason being “for the love of the games”. For the first time in history, Dodson faltered with his first baseball season coming out of retirement, and had a disappointing finish. Fantasy legends do not let that bother them, so Dodson went on to win his first ever hockey championship, and he threw in another basketball championship, just for laughs. Dodson currently has 5 fantasy championships, much more than any other manager, and he even spent time in retirement.

Dodson’s best athletic days are behind him, but Dodson enjoys playing recreational sports, including Wiffleball. All the scouts say Dodson has incredible Wiffleball potential, and the most raw talent ever seen on a Wiffleball field. With Dodson’s intimidating 6’ 3’’ figure, quick bat speed, and long arms, he should be able to hit anything pitched to him. Unfortunately, Dodson has not reached his Wiffleball potential yet, due to focus and dedication issues. Rumor has it that Dodson will be bringing his “A” game to every Wiffleball game this summer, and Dodson will surely be looking to put up some monster numbers in 2003, stay tuned...
