Guidelines for Use of the NBC Name and Logo
If you are interested in using the NBC name and logo on your web site, or in any printed materials, NBC appreciates your support and provides the following guidelines:
Policy for Any Use of the NBC Marks
Use of the NBC Marks is granted to approved licensees (NBC affiliates) and then only under the terms and provisions of this policy for any use of the NBC Marks. A party authorized to use the NBC Marks agrees not to claim any right, title or interest in or to the NBC Marks or to adopt any confusingly similar name, designation or mark in the United States or any other country. All uses of the NBC Marks shall benefit NBC, not the licensee of the NBC Marks.
The use of the NBC Marks must be authorized by NBC and is meant to note a specific relationship with NBC for an individual or business that works with NBC for the benefit of recreational cycling, and bike education and safety.
NBC must approve all intended use(s) of the NBC Marks including use(s) on business cards, advertisements or letterhead or in any similar manner prior to printing or usage.
If the NBC Marks are used on the Internet, they must always be used as an active link to NBC's official web site: www.NBCyclists.org. NBC may visit participating web sites to check on compliance to these guidelines. NBC may terminate Internet use of the NBC Marks at any time even though such use complies with this policy.
Only the NBC Marks, as seen on the NBC web site and printed documents, have been approved by National Brotherhood of Cyclists for use. The individual or organization agrees to use the NBC Marks only as such marks are used by NBC. The NBC Marks may be displayed in different sizes, but all elements of the NBC Marks must be recognizable and changed in size proportionally. The NBC Marks may be reproduced in black and white or, if in color, only in PMS 485 (and equivalent in four-color process) and black.
The NBC Marks may not be printed, embossed or displayed on products, literature, packaging or web sites suggesting endorsement or promotion by NBC unless other wised authorized by NBC. Merchandise not supported or provided through NBC and used for sale, may not contain the NBC Marks unless otherwise authorized by NBC.
