No outside diskettes, food, drinks, gum, candy, cosmetics, hair products, liquid paper, magnets, etc. will be allowed in the computer lab.
All unrelated items should be put away before the tardy bell rings. Notebooks and pencils should be with you at your station.
Keep your work area clean. This includes the floor. Notebooks will be kept in assigned area.
Find the proper adjustment for your chair before class begins and leave it there. DO NOT roll in your chairs.
Check your station first thing, and report any problem to the teacher immediately.
Teacher time = NO TALKING ~~ NO WALKING
Operate equipment that you have been trained on. Laserdisc player and printers are to be operated according to teacher instructions. Hands off items on the teacher's desk.
Be sure to login at the beginning of class and logout at the end of the period. NOTE: DO NOT TELL ANYONE YOUR PASSWORD!!
Take care of the computer you are assigned to use. Mississippi law requires that if a student willfully and maliciously damages, destroys, or steals school property, his/her parents or legal guardians are liable for the replacement or restoration of said property up to $20,000.
**Based on the infraction, the teacher will give warnings, take students off of computers, deduct points, contact the principal, or call parents when the policies listed above are broken.
