Temples & Forts At the village Amb near Sakesar, there was a fort which is now in ruins. The fort has been disappeared in the settlements around it. When General Cunningham, British Governor of Punjab, surveyed the area in last century, the fort was in very good shape. In this fort there were three temples, which are now ruins but one can get a lot of information from these. There were also two more temples which are also almost destroyed. One was at the place called Nursing Phohar, 8 Kms east of Sodhi Jai Wali. It was built near a spring coming out of a rock, the other was temple of Kamla Devei, near village Khura. |
