ADVANCED TECHNICAL FIELD
The
Navy is committed to maintaining the absolute cutting-edge in
emerging
systems and equipment. Technological training spans a wide range
of areas that are applicable both in and out of the Navy.
NAVY AIRCREW PROGRAM
Perform
in-flight maintenance and tactical crew duties for jet,
turboprop and helicopter aircraft.
SUBMARINE ELECTRONICS/COMPUTER FIELD
Provides
guaranteed electronics training and a critical job opportunity
aboard
one of the Navy's technology-rich submarines.
DIVEFARER PROGRAM
This
program offers the opportunity to volunteer for jobs in one of
three
Navy Diving Programs.
If
you are not sure what type of job you want, the Navy offers an
apprenticeship
program that features on-the-job training. This will give you the
chance to work
in various types of jobs before choosing a field in which to
specialize.
