My real name is Michael, but usually everyone calls me Mike (unless they are cross with me).
On the net though it is usually Mickey or Nautie. Go figure!
I was born 17 July 1955 in Salisbury, Rhodesia (now Harare, Zimbabwe).
Zim is a smallish country in the middle of Southern Africa, with 2 claims to fame:
the Victoria Falls; and
a virulently homophobic arsehole for a president, Robert Mugabe.
My home now is Durban, on the east coast of South Africa.
Formerly a teacher, now I work in the Education Department with information and statistics.
