The angler who landed Kerisi is Sumadi, he used 30 lbs tackle and fight about 10 minutes. It was because the depth of the water around 100 ft deep. He used 30 lbs tackle to avoid a big fish snap his light tackle line. Maybe the fight it self not too exciting, but the species was amazed us.
Two days fishing, once again in Muara Binuangen fisherman village. That time was in fishing season for narrow barred mackerel and trevally, but we were not lucky because of the change of the current. And the color of the water was not good. But still we could enjoy it, although we had to move more distance from Tinjil island. The hotspot is Karang Tengah Binuangen (A coral reef in the ocean). The team spent the night in the ocean to tried night fishing there. The result was not too bad, 6 - 10 pounds trevallys was so busy bite the fillet, and also a 3 lbs grouper.

But the most exciting fish was "Kerisi" in Indonesian language, we didn't know the name in English. It was a 11 lbs kerisi, and not too big compare to the common size in Binuangen. But we were surprised by the species.
We never found Kerisi in that size, the most common Kerisi founded in Indonesia was less than 2 lbs. We were amazed by that, the picture is on the left side.
