These two pictures shows some friends from United States. They were fishing about 40 miles from St. Augustine, Florida. Just before the sailfish broke the ocean water, they had double strikes and landed two barracudas.
Dan and George went on a fishing trip with three other friends. One of the outrigger line strike. Dan was at the helm and George ran to the back of the boat, when the reel screamed, he grab the pole and set the hook.
A moment later after he handed the rod to one of their guest, the ocean dancer broke the water and started the tail walking dance across the sea. Fantastic! The reel was only half full of 25 lbs line test and is almost 15 years old. They were loosing line quickly and barely able to turn the boat in time to keep from getting spooled.
15 minutes later, Dan had him billed and bring into the boat for pictures. They released him a short time later and he swam away, tired but alive. |
