Fan Fiction?!

I guess that is the question on your mind when you read the description for "Die drei dunklen Damen".
Of course, most of the characters in my stories - especially the male ones ;) - are based on real or fictional persons. For example, Lord Asphodel Hellebore in "The Christmas Rose" is based upon Severus Snape from the Harry Potter-series. So why don't I call all my stories fan fiction?
The differentiation that I make is this:
as in the example of Lord Hellebore, I took the character "Severus Snape", its looks, and most of its character traits. BUT I gave him a different name and changed his personality to match my specific story.
As for the character in "Die drei dunklen Damen" (and I won't give away who it is yet, you'll have to read the story to find out ;) ), I took an entire existing character without changing anything - especially without changing the name. (Changing the name for me is the first step to making a character "mine".)
Thus, this is a story including a character (a fictional one, in this case, although it is also based on a "real" person) that was invented by someone else than me.
That's what I call "fan fiction"!

So go ahead and find out who I'm a fan of... ;)
