"Sevgiliye son" - Sedat Yüce
"For the last time turn and look back, what's left except your sorrow"
The Turkish Final was held on February 23rd at the TRT TV Studios in Ankara, hosted by Ömer Önder and Meltem Ersan. The winning song was chosen by an "expert" jury of 11 people, and only the winner was announced, but the 2nd and 3rd placings are also known.

Sedat Yüce first took part in the Turkish Final in 1993 as a backing singer for Sebnem Özsaran. He then came 3rd in 1996 and sang "Birak beni" in 1999. At the Eurovision he came 11th.
