The German Final was held on February 27th in Lübeck, hosted by Jens Riewa. The winner was chosen by televoting. Although only the top 3 placings were officially announced, the placings of the other songs are known:

Bianca Shomburg came equal 18th at the Eurovision. Leon represented Germany in the 1996 preselection.
