"Once in a lifetime" - Eda-Ines Etti
The Estonian Final was held on February 5th at the ETV Studios in Tallinn, hosted by Marko Reikop. The winning song was chosen by an international panel of 10 judges which included Noel Kelehan (Irish conductor), Corinne Hermes (winner of ESC 1983), Anders Berglund (Swedish conductor), Michael Ball (represented UK in 1992), Bo Halldorsson (represented Iceland in 1995) and Moshe Datz (represented Israel in 1991). Amongst Ines' backing singers were Maiken, Kaire Vilgats and Pearu Paulus who had all participated in previous Estonian Finals. "Once in a lifetime" was also the favourite in the televote of the Estonian TV and radio audience.

Evelin Samuel was a backing singer for Estonia in the 1997 Eurovision, and represented Estonia in 1999, when Maian Kärmas was one of her backing singers. Eda-Ines Etti came 4th at the Eurovision.
