There were 5 semi-finals, each of which was presented by Harald Tusberg. �The winning song in each semi-final was chosen by postcard voting. Even though he was not actually competing in the semi-finals, Jahn Teigen presented his song in the first semi-final, although he sang it alone (without Anita Skorgan).
