"Adieu" - Jahn Teigen & Anita Skorgan

The Norwegian Final was held on March 20th at the NRK TV Studios in Oslo, hosted by Ivar Dyrhaug. Five of the 10 songs qualified through a series of semi-finals - for details click here: NORWEGIAN SEMI-FINALS 1982 Of the other songs, 4 came through the open contest, and Jahn Teigen's song got automatic entry. The winning song was chosen by the votes of 11 regional juries.

Jahn Teigen had previously represented Norway in 1978 as well as taking part in the Norwegian Finals of 1974, 1975, 1976 and 1980. Anita Skorgan represented Norway in 1977, 1979 and in 1981 as a backing singer. She also came 3rd in the 1976 Norwegian Final, 8th in 1978 and 6th in 1980. At the Eurovision, "Adieu" came 12th.
