The definition of what it means to be a Christian. When I was growing up. Being a Christen meant that you didn't swear, you didn't attend movies, and you attended church every Sunday. Christen values are no longer being thouht in the home and to many children are growing up in blended family's and don't have any idea what the historical meaning of the nuclear family is. Let alone one that attends church and openly profess their faith , like the gay's openly profess there sexuality. Sorry it is the only analogy that I could come up with at the time. Maybe I'll change it later
Being christen has absolutely nothing to due with being peaised or bring down judgement for people of their sins. It does have evertything to due with Christ and his teachings and how they translate into our lifes today. Their are three ways to worship Chirst that come to mind right away Prayer, Sharing Christ with others, and helping others has Christ would have.
Prayer There is no specife way in which we Pray to God. But it must be from the heart and not the head. It should be reverant. and done in such a way that it doesn't become a distraction. There is what the y Bible says about prayer.
Seek the Lord and his Strength, seek his face coninutialy

Parents have taken to not owning up to their responsibility as parents. They are teaching their children that if it feels good do it. Children that grow up with this sort of example of no positive role model on which to base there life. there fore unless someone outside of the that environment. Parents are also not following their role as parents by trying to be a Childs best friend. It is good to build a trusting relationship with your child however that is not your role as a parent. How is a child to learn right from wrong? How are they to learn the meaning of hard work to forge a place in the community? How are they to learn just plain good moral character and sound judgment if these things are not taught by parents in the home. The sort answer is that most of the time they simply don't. |

Marriage is anther key command in a christen life that has gone off the road. The Bible says that man will leave his family and take a wife. Meaning anther woman. Not man to man or woman to woman. In my parents day there was no such thing gay marriage or the term same sex partner. It just did not exist. People didn't leave together before marriage they waited until after they had made that commitment to each other |

| When people got married they stayed together forever through the good times and the bad. They just didn't decided one day that it wasn't working for them anymore so they were going to hang it up. In my personal opinion you should never marry anyone unless you are 90% certain that it will last forever and the only reason you should leave is two fold. One if the spouse cheats and two if the relationship involves verbal or physical abuse. |

The media along with current events has brought religion to the for front of American life. Islam something that I really didn't even know exisited has taken the for front of Headlines. Micheal Nedow was brought out athism to the front pages of America's national news papers.
Some people are now trying to claim that what has been expected as truth for the last 2000 is false. They are trying to get Christens to go with the flow and be politicly correct. It's just not going to happen.
Futher prove of this esxist on the campus of my own employer. The copy eithdor thinks it's ok to slaim on dead christens or christens in general. Most people have no problems slaiming Christens, but let me talk about something diffrent for a while. The the Devinie code. First and formost their is no Holy Blood line. Jesuse was not married and did not have children. This is nothing more then a made up fairy tale. It makes for good Telivison., but their is no factaul information that says Jesus was married or evening sleeping with Mary of Magdolone.
The lastest is their is an athiest group wanting to push their agenda of a godless sociaity.. |
