In countries that have summer leagues, this is the 1997 standings. Of course, these teams participate in the 1998/99 European Cups. The table at the bottom of the page is the UEFA Co-efficient table. It shows how many UEFA Cup places each country gets and who has 2 teams in the Champions' League
